Great food places no matter what size and area they located wow and surprise you in all lovely ways and Farida is definitely cuts in that category.
I don't eat beef so couldn't try lot of the dishes but stuff was worth everything. Once we got the food it was tasty and I definitely enjoyed the experience, besides the wait time

Great food. Excellent vibes. Dope atmosphere. The owner is very passionate about the industry and the culture. Made me happy to see such care from the service to the food. And the food is GLORIOUS. Swordfish, salmon, steak and lamb kebabs the way to go. They pile on veggies with the platters.

This place has one of the best kebabs/shashlyks in NYC. Honestly, not exaggerating here. I've tried a good number of Turkish, Punjabi, Persian and Central Asian places in the city and so far this place had the best kebabs/shashlyks. The mixed grill platter is a good choice. Also try the lamb chops- they're quite good.
The owner (John) is very friendly and will also give you recommendations based on your preferences.

Oh my goodness! Since the pandemic, I've not gone out much. My friend and I stumbled on this gem of a restaurant. We were greeted by a lovely lady ( in the pic) and the owner John. John was very attentive, professional, charming and passionate about the food. He made good suggestions for us. He made us feel special and appreciated. The food was flavorful and the meat was succulent. I would go back again! I hope John, his staff and the restaurant have more successful.

Amazing filet mignon shishkabbab with a salad suggested by server Sergio. Outdoor patio with heaters at each table, grass carpet and outside Service area almost like a bar at the beach in some wild vacation spot.
Delish! I'll order from here to take out if I move across lol but I'll come ill come visit from anywhere always. Go Farida. Say hi to borat for me 👍
