It really reminded me of some European espresso bars. It is small so there is only standing room against one wall, but the prices are on par for NYC and the espresso was really good. I will try their sandwiches next time. They also offer things to go.

Traditional Italian espresso drinks made with precision and a smile. Delicious pastry bites and friendly service.

Great coffee! One of the best espresso bars in Manhattan, they say.

Pros: If you want the superlative Italian espresso experience in NYC - this place is the best. They are one of the only places in NYC with the laCimbali M100 espresso machine. Cons: Expensive compared to Starbucks, but you get what you pay for.. Its also a espresso bar, which means: you order, you drink, and you leave. ;)

Fantastic, authentic espresso bar. Great pastries and sandwiches as well. As someone who grew up in Italy, I can say that this place does it right. The only slight knock I can mention is that it's mildly pricey. But not enough to stop me from going.

Hands down my favorite place to grab caffe in the morning. It is the first truly Italian "bar" (cafe) that I have found in Manhattan. The interior is long and narrow with the beautiful marble bar spanning the whole room so you can enjoy your espresso quickly, standing up in true Italian fashion. The espresso is very good and this is the only place you will be able to find a real cornetto (italian croissant), the favorite of mine being the cream one. They also have a few other italian pastries to enjoy. I have not yet been for lunch, but they do offer little sandwiches and beer/wine.

Finally!!!! A true Italian bar (café) where I can truly enjoy a real espresso, the way it's meant to be. Stand up Italian espresso bar style. Nothing else compares! The cappuccino blew me away!!!
