Very good sushi spot. Everything from the service to the food was excellent. As we were ordering our waiter was very courteous to warn us that we were ordering a ton of food for 3 people. Nevertheless we stuck to it and ordered what we intended. I don’t think we left any food on our plates even the
The first thing I want to compliment is their incredibly attentive guest service. My water was always full, as was my sake glass. When I walked away to use the restroom, they folded my napkin for me to come back to. And we had a complimentary appetizer from the chef. I had the sushi omakase and whe
This place is so cool. The sushi is so fresh it melts in your mouth. I had a great experience with omakase at the sushi bar. I would recommend anyone who can to try it. Is expensive but it is worth it at least once.
The setting is nice and interesting with two parallel and almost identical rooms and a counter in the back. Service is excellent. We were a bit disappointing because their fish and rice are high quality but they tend to spoil the raw flavors by adding too much unnecessary noise on their sushi - like
The food can be amazing if you pick the right things, so there are a few general guidelines to stick to to ensure you have a good experience here: 1) Ordering sushi a la carte is a pretty big no-no. The 10 piece sushi set costs ~$45 vs. the average individual piece costing ~$10. You do the math :)
Overall excellence - lack of bad pieces, great texture on uni, excellent savor and great texture on rice. It could be a bit salty and acidic, depending on preference
A high style, very good sushi joint, with exceptional service. The ambiance is unique, and the service is impeccable. The sake and wine selection are excellent. We enjoyed several rolls, sashimi and sushi. It's not quite the best sushi or Japanese restaurant I've been to, but it's one of the best.
Truly fantastic. Full disclosure, I haven't been to many omakase [2nd time actually), but had a real enjoyable dining experience. I love the design of the place, as I am not keen on stuffy formal places. Sitting on the counter and watching the staff in front prepare the food makes it even tastier.
