Fantastic restaurant, everything was super delicious and creative and looked amazing. We were also impressed by the speed at the which the numerous courses arrived at our table. Staff was very friendly and the service was definitely spot on. Whenever our wine glasses started to get empty, they would immediately refill them or serve the next one from the pairing. $200 per person is a really good deal given the outstanding quality. Can recommend.

We visited Coarse NY randomly by checking table availability in the neighborhood on a Sunday evening with comparable great reviews.
They tried to communicate with us about our needs for my 5 month old baby via text message since they rarely pick up phone, which was very on point, considerate & friendly.
The decor is modern and bright with cozy ambiance & elegant furniture. It’s perfect for a date but might not be ideal for group gatherings.
It’s spontaneous menu based on what ingredients they have, 6 courses for $149 (wine pairing +$50) and the chef confirmed our allergy before serving.
We got hamachi with avocado, chili crab tostada, tuna steak, slow cooked veal, mushroom with truffle, passion fruit sorbet with mascarpone cheese and almond cream & almond chocolate.
The portion was good and most ingredients were fresh with good quality. The taste was decent and our favorites were the tuna & sorbet. However, we felt a little disappointed since there was no surprise from any bite.
We felt familiar here and there but this might be a good thing for others. It’s overall a pleasant experience and we enjoyed our night very much.
Really thoughtful plates of food, surprisingly filling and delicious, wine pairings are also a great plus. I can't recommend this experience enough if you are open to trying most food and looking for a unique experience, you don't even have to think about it, just show up, get handed wine, and eat delicious food placed in front of you. The chef was seemingly very directly involved with the operations and comfort of the guests, he and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Can't wait to come back for another great experience!

One of the most unique experiences I've ever had. No menu, no waiters, and no bar. Yes, you heard that right!
Just sit back relax and enjoy an amazing tasting menu, that has been perfectly paired with wine. All the food is served by the kitchen staff. what a wonderful experience!
I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had Friday night! Upon arrival we received rosé while we waited briefly for our table. The first course came out and continued throughout the evening with another delicious item after another! Along with some tasty wines and even some sake. Hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. We left full, happy and talking non stop about how incredible everything was!
Incredible food, wine and overall experience!! I've taken so many friends and family here and they continue to RAVE about it since it's so memorable.
This is my go-to for celebrations. You can easily spend $150+ at a NYC restaurant, so why not have an amazing experience you won't regret?!
The best meal we have ever had. 8 courses of delicious food, each one creative and innovative in its own way. It was a full sensory experience in such a unique form that I cannot give high enough praise. Staff was fantastic, food was beyond perfect.
