It has a very 2010s hipster vibe and I'm into it. Probably one of the few places I've seen with a peanut butter burger on the menu (it's very good) I def recommend this to anyone looking for a burger joint in the area. Be careful of the spicy burger because it is well and truly very very spicy!!

First I will say I love the staff, ther are always super friendly and extremely accommodating. The food is first class. I've had just about everything on the menu, and I haven't had a bad meal yet. If you're in the area this is a great spot, so stop in and give it a try you won't be sorry.

the side of pickles is what gets me to keep coming back!!! its AMAZING, you get about 4 full sized local pickles. the vegetarian philly cheese steak is super fun and i ate the whole thing. the salad made me remove a star because it was pretty boring (i got the house salad)

So disappointed in this service. My group of 4 went on a Sunday evening. There were 2 other tables and we had the worst service. The waitress totally forgot my salad order. Burgers were missing cheese. We ordered apps and she didn’t bring out little plates or silverware.
We left hungry and went to a 7th Street Burger.

I’ve had my last Whitman’s burger. The burgers and cheesesteaks are decent enough with a wide variety of designer burgers and plenty of options for personalization.
The service is the real downer here. The staff is nice enough, but I am always rushed out when I don’t order another beer even when the entire restaurant is empty and it is well before closing. Last week we were constantly asked every few minutes if we wanted another beer. I finally just asked for the check thinking that would satisfy our pushy server. Five minutes after the check was laid down our server interrupts our conversation to process the credit card transaction at the table. We were in-and-out in under 30 minutes. (I could go on a diatribe on how the Toast systems and other mobile POS systems are myopic and detrimental to customer experience, but this is not the venue.) In the past at Whitman’s we’ve taken the check up to the counter when we are ready to leave, not be pushed to pay when it is convenient for the staff.

This place is tucked into a quiet corner of St Marks Street. The burgers were on point with juicy meats, hot fries and optional unique toppings. In fact, I will have to come back to this place to try peanut butter on my burger. This place small hidden bathroom. The service was quick and my server was friendly.

A bit expensive and some think the portions are small but I think it's the perfect size with relation to the bun and lettuce and other toppings. The raw onion on the classic burger was great and the homemade chips are delicious. Fries are good, too. Service was friendly and quick. Will go back for sure, we saw someone get a steak and cheese and it looked really good.

I want to know who is responsible for this incredible food experience. Thanks you! Consider opening a Whitman’s on long island. I’d finance my house for a food business like this, tomorrow. *mouths: call me*
