Excellent coffee at Abraco. A much larger space than their original location, so now there are seats and some room to move. The olive oil cake is good - quite moist. The service is pretty friendly and the baristas are pretty consistant. A very very good latte.
Abraco is genuinely a lovely café. A year ago, this café moved across the street to a much larger space. Now there is seating and even a communal table and for those who like to stand and have their coffee, there are round tables for that too. There are also two restrooms which makes lingering here conducive and relaxing.
This afternoon I wanted a cortado and couldn't resist a thick slice of the olive oil cake. I sat down and leisurely ate and drank all the while marveling at how much more enjoyable this was.
There is a large kitchen but no set menu. Tempting dishes arrive and whet people's appetites. I should plan a full day here with a book so that I can see what comes out and have a jolly good feed.
The service here is friendly and kind.

Cash only Cafe. One of the best cappuccino ($3.50) I've ever had. There's only size and it's small but it is so smooth and rich with subtle sweetness. I usually add a tad of sugar to my cappuccinos but there was no need in this one. Not saying it's sweet but the pure ness of it has to be enjoyed as prepared. It also packs quite the caffeine punch.
The inside has a large communal table and a few small tables for twos. Tiny patio. Seems like customers all know each other there - a true neighbourhood Cafe. There's also a small pastry counter though didn't try any.
Absolutely felt like I was sipping the Latte of the Gods.
Creamy, bold, smooth, amazing foam - the way all latte's wish they could be. Small no-frills coffee joint. Just a couple of cool guys behind a counter in a place the size of a closet serving up some of the most tasty coffee products around.
My buddy introduced me to this place and now I am like an addict on crack. Their latte's are crack.
Seriously, if I had a pipe I would pour this stuff in, blaze up, and inhale it right into my blood stream. They are so good here with a friendly staff. More of a grab and go spot to get your caffeine fix.
This little coffee place has no tables to sit at; only a couple of counters and a bench, which is fine if you're getting something on the go. I ordered a regular cortado, (they don't carry almond milk,) and it was quite possibly one of the best I've ever had. Creamy and slightly nutty, I enjoyed it as I stood by the window to enjoy the warm weather.
The right away to start a journey in the city. The espresso really gives you a kick of energy. The latte is creamy and perfectly balanced. Its a small coffee shop and the staff quite friendly
Hard to beat. By far the best coffee in NYC! Coming from a country where we value ourselves on the fine blend and craft of coffee, Abraco definitely beat some of the best cafes in Melbourne. The mix of individuals who grace the quaintly-sized establishment are unique and it has a very cosy vibe. The coffee is a perfect nutty blend that packs a punch. The place has fantastic olive-oil cake which is to die for, especially when given a steaming hot latte. For the jazz fans out there, the owner is always spinning amazing tunes. Definitely need to visit if in NYC!
All that I hoped and expected. I saw a youtube video where some cute girl was reviewing the place. The sound was completely down so I don't know what she said, just cute girl nodding, smiling and sipping. Anyhow, We came all the way across town to take a gander for ourselves with nary a disappointment. The espresso was perfect, perhaps in every way. The service was great, the presentation and service, nearly perfect, only to be outdone by the unique delicious espresso to follow. Thanks everyone at Abraço, I wish you all the riches and success in the world! Come experience for yourself.

This is the best coffee in ny, if not the world...and the food is great too!
Great coffee and pastry, friendly barista, warm store ambient. Abraco is everything you expect (or even more) from a great coffee shop to start your day bright. The only problem here is that the seating is somewhat limited, especially during a busy period.
A nice coffee shop in the East Village. Latte is strong and balanced, the perfect cup to wake up a sleepy afternoon. Macchiato is potent as well, revealing the great beans from which it is made from. Simple seating, a communal table, few sitting and standing tables. Service is fast. Wait time not too long despite constant in-flow of customers. Cash only.
We made a quick stop for coffee and olive oil cake for take out here. The cake was moist and tasted pretty good.
