Had lunch there for the first time yesterday. It was Wendnesday at 1pm but the place wasn't packed and we got seated right away. I ordered a greek salad and my friends had some burgers. Everything was delicious and the service was fantastic too (the waitress was the sweetest she kind of reminded me of my grandma!). Prices are quite affordable too.

Great food!. ***QUICK NOTE: I've been to all three Burger Heaven locations and had similar experiences so my review is the same for all three.***
If you're looking for good quality, classic American food in New York City, you truly can't go wrong with Burger Heaven. I've been eating here for years and I don't think I would ever get sick of eating here. I usually get the grilled cheese which is very good. There's nothing that's really unique about the grilled cheese, but if you're looking for just good old-fashioned grilled cheese and fries, you've come to the right place. Speaking of the fries, I don't get the curly fries, I just get the regular fries and they are consistently good, as a matter of fact, all the food here is very consistent. Anyway, usually at restaurants I ask for the fries extra crispy but for here I don't need to because they always come out good without me asking. I think the service here is fine, the food comes out relatively quick, I've never had a server with an attitude, so I have no complaints. Burger Heaven is always clean, including the bathrooms. I highly encourage anyone to give this place a try and with such a big menu, you're bound to find something here that you'll like.
Good Burgers. This is my #2 spot for burgers in NYC - sorry, Burger Heaven, Shake Shack wins by a mile. However, if you want good burgers, good fries, at a good price - go to Burger Heaven.
It was great big burgers cooked any way you'd like and the service was fun and the small tv's did not feel like you were in a sports bar but if you needed to know the score you could. Anyway back to the food. It was really good. A perfect place for a lunch date or an early dinner for two. Sitting in the back is a little loud but if you are a smaller party it will be perfect.
Eh...pass. So I stopped here with my travel companion after walking up and down fifth all afternoon. The staff was very nice, accents were a little difficult, but very accommodating.
We order and I expected to wait a while for our burgers but it was a super fast turn around. This made me question quality at this point.
So I load my classic american up with mayo & ketchup, cover my curly fries with pepper, and settle in for my lunch.
Disappointment was my initial feeling after biting into my burger.
As a Texan, I must go ahead and say that I am a burger snob.
I rather have a McD's angus burger over another of these.
BUT! the curly fries were GREAT.
So pass if you can, otherwise it's ok.

Great old style burger restaurant. If youre going to MoMa and want a burger it's the best place to go! Just a 5 minute walk or so

I had a quick lunch here at afternoon time, the place was pretty busy. I was seated on the spot and made and order of a turkey burger and sweet potato fries. Turned out to be really really good. Served with three slices of pickle and coleslaw. It came out in just 5 minutes which was surprising considering it was busy in here. The interior is nice with a very Diner like look.
This is exactly what it claims to be, generous comfort food, delicious high-quality burgers, homemade french fries, and quick, efficient service. I love ALL Burger Heaven restaurants, they are NY institutions. If you want this city to become 100% corporate Starbucks, and ubiquitous, soulless chain restaurants then you will nitpick all our local mom and pops. There is no comparison between this and a chain. Here, you can get personalized service and have it your way. The owner is present and takes pride in every diner having a good experience, as opposed to a Board of Directors that tries to squeeze that extra penny of profit to satisfy shareholders.
Overall, the impression is they are more interested in getting the most out of their clients rather than making the most for their clients. The place is nice and clean with sparkling furniture and a vintage atmosphere. Service was quick and dishes good and conveniently cooked but overpriced with hamburguers not including french fries so we had to add them to the bill. OK for a quick, expensive, bite especially if you are hungry and in a hurry.
Nice "diner" off a side street in the hustle and bustle. Few dining options coming down from Central Park and this one fit the bill. Big portions, quick service and the food came out quickly and done well. The burger is huge but tasty and patty melt was perfection. Salads, sandwiches and entrees are all avail with standard american flair in a diner like setting. Worth popping in, taking a rest and fueling up before heading out again.
They are more than burgers. There is a large extensive menu. There are a lot of lunch specials and breakfast specials. The service is always good. Coffee is hot and strong. The milk shakes are good and thick. They get very crowded during lunch hour during the week, but the lines move fast. Prices are on the inexpensive side. Great restaurant for one of the most expensive areas in town.
I am a regular at Burger Heaven. They go above and beyond to make you happy. Everything is fresh and everyone from the cook to the girl at the register is friendly. The woman taking my breakfast order is on point each time never an error. I'm very happy they are in the neighborhood ! Keep up the good work. George
