The style of curry at this place is good and ordering here is quite easy. This is definitely more of a take out location rather than a dine in one. While there are seats and tables available there are no restroom facilities available.

I havent been here since 2019 because I work remotely now. Was so happy to stop by while I was in the area. The food did not disappoint. I'll have to make it a point to stop in again soon.

The store is showing its age but overall is clean.I ordered the chicken and it was fresh, hot and cooked well. Overall it was good, but I would not go out of my way for it. There was plenty of food, mostly rice, but still good.

Great place to try some fried chicken and seafood platters. It's very close to Times Square and easy to locate. The service is quick and efficient. The food quality is great, and they have options available if you want your food to be spicy or non spicy.

I got a delivery order of the pork katsu. It was honestly pretty decent. The curry was a little thicker than I'd like but I was impressed with the portions.

Perfect for a quick meal before catching the bus. Food was served very quickly and everything tasted amazing. The katsu was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Curry was the tiniest bit of spicy and it went perfectly with everything else on the plate. Even the lettuce on the side was fresh and a great palate cleanser. Overall Im very satisfied 🤤

I've always seen this type of food in anime and thought it would be cool to check it out. I've never had curry or chicken katsu before. The meal was delicious! I got the more expensive dish that comes with sausage and a fried shrimp so that along with a can of some came out to about $20. It could probably be a bit cheaper but the tax is what makes it cost more, they can't help that. There's rice below the curry so there's more food than it looks on the plate. It's a good treat to have occasionally. The restaurant is small, with only two tables and a bar along the side wall with a few seats. They have 1 TV that plays Japanese commercials for the restaurant. There's no subtitles so I'm not sure what it says. The place is clean but the lighting is a bit dull. The restaurant seems to be a chain so I suppose they can't help the look if they're trying to maintain a certain aesthetic. The small staff is friendly. Give this place a try at least once.

We were surprised at how small the location was. Nonetheless we had a good curry meal. The curry was seasoned well and the chicken katsu was super crispy. I also liked the raw cabbage a lot. Oh and the Yuzu soda was great.

Been going here for years, it's not the cheapest thing but it's certainly not expensive. Tasty and filling. Sometimes depending on who is working the curry can be a little on the salty side but other than that it's a good, cozy, flavorful curry. Even on its own over rice without toppings of you are avoiding fried food. Just know this is a pork based curry (not much pork flavor though) Personally favor the chicken katsu topping, shrimp and sausage are also good. The Go-go pack is totally worth it if you aren't nearby, easy it as served with rice, various noodles, cauliflower rice or try whatever. We usually get drinks at the shop around the corner though. The employees are always wonderful and work hard, sometimes only one person doing everything so tip if you can.

Definitely one of my Top go to Dinner places. I usually get a Large Pork Katsu with extra pork which comes up to about $18.....without the extra pork....it's around $15. katsu, also known as panko Pork is a Japanese dish of fried pork made with panko bread crumbs. So it's breaded pork fried and topped with Japanese curry. It is delicious and a must try I would say if your in the area.
