Pizza the way it's meant to be, tastes just like their Naples location! Ever since eating at Sorbillo in Naples, I've been hunting for a pizza with crust as soft and delicate as theirs. Finally found it here at their NY location. Absolutely do not miss this place if you have any interest in pizza at all. A real gem.

Best pizza I've had in NYC!!! I went to Sorbillo Pizzeria last Friday with my husband and we were very surprised at the fairly good prices, attentions and the awesomely good tasty pizza that we had there. The servers are nice, friendly, attentive and noticeably experienced. The place is nice and clean, the interior is cozy and well maintained; they have different areas and tables to choose, from the bar area and family tables to the intimate and romantic spots by the kitchen. The service is super fast. We loved the ambience and decor too, the music was also nice. The menu and the beer selection is great, they offer a good variety and the quality is super good. We ordered the Funghi pizza for $18 and it was SO WORTH IT! the size, the waiting time was respectively short, compared to other pizzerias; also the texture, the taste, everything was on point! The ingredients were fresh, the pizza tasted amazingly good, and looked so good that we didn't even though of taking a picture of it, and ate it right away. Lol! Anyways, I'm planning on going to Sorbillo again soon, so I promise to update this review by adding more pictures and my opinion on the other pizzas that I'm going to order.

I am a Pizza fanatic I have to say I really enjoyed the wood burning oven thin crust pizza! A full Menu of Italian food with a great Bar. This is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. It’s pretty busy so make a reservation

This is one of the most delicious pizza spots I have ever been to. The original Sorbillo locations started in Italy, and this one is just as delicious and authentic. Located in Noho, this cute restaurant has outdoor seating, a pretty interior with a large wood oven, and friendly staff and servers. The menu has a large selection of pizza and starters. We got the sautéed escarole to start, which is a delicious dish with sautéed greens from Italy that are cooked with olives and anchovies. For the main, the two of us split a margarita pizza. I can not describe how delicious the pizza is. The crush is so thin and delicious (and made of organic flour). It had the perfect ratio of sauce to mozzarella. Pizzas range around $16-$18 and wines range from $9 to $12 a glass. Overall, it was an incredible experience and excellent value and ambience.

Excellent pizza. True Italian style. Expectations were high when we brought our Italian exchange student here and we were not disappointed in the food at all. We had four pizzas, shaved truffle and quail egg being the most interesting one. Only minor complaint was that we were being waited on by two people and when it came time for the check and payment it took a very long time. Otherwise a great experience.

Authentic neapolitan pizza in NY. I have been to the location in Napoli, it's not even my favorite when I'm in that city. However, I'm grateful it's available here at home. It's far superior to many of the other places serving Neopolitan pizza. The standard Italian dishes also looked good. I was surprised it was nearly empty on a Sunday afternoon. A majority of the other diners were from Italy.

One of the best places to get pizza in the East Village. Pizza was made perfect. The best combination of sauce, cheese and dough. We also had zucchini fritters which were outstanding. They have a nice sitting area outside which made our meal even more enjoyable. Great service and excellent pizza.

What a delightful surprise. One month ago I went to Naples for my first time. There I tasted the *best piazza ever*. A tearful experience. The expression “a party in my mouth” here most appropriately describes the event. Got back to NYC and, suprise! surprise!, Sorbillo is here as well! So I went yesterday with my students and, what a marvelous experience. We got catapulted back altogether to Naples. We made friends with the table next to us. Two Italian lads from Naples who moved upstate three months ago and drove for two hours only to come to the pizzeria and enjoy an authentic dinner. We were a party of 4 and we wanted to share the cannoli dessert order, but there are 3 cannoli in one order. Well, Andrea brought us an extra cannolo, even though he wasn't supposed to. Hopefully he doesn't get in trouble for this. Stay assured we're going to come back over again, bring plenty of friends, and spread the word in town. Below you have a (delicious) deep fried calzone, frittatina di pasta (pasta arancino), pizza ai funghi, and calzone classico. TL;DR The best pizzeria on the Globe. If you haven't tasted Sorbillo's pizza then you haven't tasted pizza at all.

Absolutely amazing. I have lived in Italy for almost 2 years and have eaten hundreds of pizzas there. I was thrilled that the Sorbillo in NYC was as good as the one in Napoli, which most of my friends who have lived in Italy for a while would agree is the best pizza one can get. If you want to try authentic Italian pizza, you need to go here. No other place in the states has ever come close! The crust is the best part and is absolutely amazing. I spoke with the guy working there in Italian, and he was obviously a native, so there's even more proof that this is the real stuff!
