Food was spot on, hot and very tasty. Coffee excellent says my wife. Service the only negative, female cashier looked really unhappy and didn't smile! And only one person preparing food with a very busy shop.
Hasn't stopped me going back again, great service at 0630 this morning, drinks serve inside one minute.

The staff was really nice. Iced coffee was pretty good! Mojito lemonade is a little sweet for my tastes but it was fresh.
There are bathrooms inside for customers.
They use crushed ice for their iced drinks, which I am a fan of.
Fresh bread out of the oven, can't beat that. I was there twice as they were opening, so the coffee had just been made and the bread was still in the fire stone oven. Very reasonable prices too.

cosi is one restaurant that i can never believe is zagat rated. it's a sandwich shop! for years my haunt was the one on 42nd between 5th and 6th (free bacon! lots of bread scraps) but lately i've been to the one on 50th and broadway. very crowded but seem to have a good process of managing flow. good for lunch.
solid soup, salad, and/or panini combination together or alone. better for take out but one of the better real chains in the city. great tomato soup, great pizza, great bread for the paninis, and good salad combinations.
if you want some light food and fun desserts cosi is a good place to go. i'm fond of the one in union square. it's not fancy and simple drinks are probably your best bet but it's good overall.
Great food. Very fresh. Very varied menu. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. What more could you want !
Great place to take lunch. Try the Korean bbq. Not the tea though. Tastes like they are using a dirty filter or something.
You have to try this pizza place out! Go with friends or a loved one. They make the best pizzas! That's all I have to say.
Noodle soup + sandwich is amazing. Also the basil pizza. Amazing value for money.
