Cozy Italian restaurant in a proverbial neighborhood, we ordered the grilled octopus salad and the truffle gnocchi. They were both great, and the service was amazing as well. We had a delightful dinner here.
First Italian meal in New York and it didn't disappoint. Excellent food and service. Cozy and intimate dining area. Excellent value! Came back for a second time before vacation was over.
So delicious! We got the truffle Mac n cheese and lobster tortelloni and both were amazing and good portions. Great value for money and wonderful service. Cute cozy place. We came in on a Friday for lunch and were the only ones there. They deserve more business though!
We found this gem through the Michelin recommendation and we almost didn’t go because the google ratings, but we are so happy we went because this place deserves all the praise it gets. The service was wonderful and atmosphere was cozy and the absolute best of all was the food. The truffle gnocchi a
One of the best meals of my life! As long as you skip past the questionably and confusing hostess… We made a reservation for here at 5pm and arrived on time. The inside is very tight, and super tiny. The minute we are seated inside, the hostess tells us they have a large party and that we need to l
My 5th time here and LOVED IT EVERY SINGLE TIME. My favorites have been the lamb shank risotto, bolognese, meatballs, octopus salad, and cheesecake. For the love of god try these items. Enjoy the food and bring your best friends and family. Love, The guy who’s gonna come back again and again
Great food. Packed. Everything was great, but I would probably skip the linguine vongola next time. Still, even that hit the spot.
Cozy Italian Restaurant in downtown Manhattan. Food was tasty and delicious. The establishment has limited seating but I promise you, you’ll enjoy your time. We wanted to order the octopus but they didn’t have it on their menu. We ordered pasta dishes one with sausage and the other with mushrooms.
Had a nice time. Wasn’t wowed but would go back. Place is very small so something to keep in mind. Food was a little cold which was surprising since they weren’t busy yet but things happen. Someone at our table ordered the pesto pasta dish which they absolutely loved. Also those that ordered cocktai
Located in the West Village this small Italian restaurant just served me one of the best meals of my life. Myself and 4 other friends came for dinner while visiting NYC with some friends. The atmosphere was very cozy, sophisticated and nothing short of high quality. The service was excellent! Attent
The food here (and any of their sister restaurants) is always a solid choice for a cozy Italian dinner. None of the dishes are out of this world but all of them are good. The space itself is very small but it makes it more intimate. Of course the wine itself is great.
Small but very authentic Italian restaurant. Delicious food, great service. Easy deserve 5 🌟 review...
We had the best dinner at Cotenna! We sat outside under the heat laps and had no issues with the cold! I had the spaghetti and meatballs, my fiance had the lobster ravioli and our friend had the truffle gnocchi that was on special! We shared a bottle of wine with our dinner. Everything was delicious
The hostess didn’t seem enthusiastic to have us. My dish, spaghetti vongole was not al dente, the vongole to pasta proportion made me feel that I was having pasta with butter. A little more garlic could have added more flavor. On the other hand the home made fetucine al funghi was absolutely fantast
The food was incredible. My husband and our two friends enjoyed it so much. The octopus was one of the best I have ever had and their black truffle gnocchi is divine. Highly recommend!
Good! It’s mainly pasta, but good pasta and fairly cheap (all the pasta dishes start at $16). They don’t really have much else on the menu. Also the outdoor seating is pretty cramped, and a waitress came up after we had paid and asked if we wanted to buy anything else to hurry us along. Pretty good
