I ordered on MealPal and my food was ready in hardly 2 mins of arrival. Loved the vibe at this place. Feels like a beach side shack. Very nice service as I noticed they were extremely polite.
I got the Lobster roll with slaw and I was awestruck. Firstly the lobster chunks looks great and I had to make sure they were de-shelled because of how in shape they were. So the roll was perfectly toasted with the right amount of butter. The lobster was unbelievably tasty. I had a bit of slaw with each bite and I was in love.
This is definitely one of my favorite city eats now!

They have the best lobster rolls in all of East Village and maybe NYC. The service here is always excellent. It feels like you are in a family kitchen from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Everyone here is so friendly and it is such a great place to meet people and have good conversations. I would always get a lobster roll here and a clam chowder. Always fresh and the flavors are so unique and good. I was in love from the moment I first tried it and have been hooked ever since. Every time I go to NYC, I make it a point to visit Luke's Lobster. They still remember me to this day and I will be going back to Luke[s forever.
Luke’s Lobster is a staple in New York City. Since it first opened in the East Village back in 2009, it has grown to have multiple locations, not only in New York, but across the country. The restaurant is known for serving up sustainable Maine-style seafood dishes, and we are big fans.
Their Midtown East location hosted us to try their new Winter menu and we’ll give you the inside scoop. Here’s what’s new:

Meat was all super fresh and delicious!! We tried the warm butter lobster roll and also the trio with mini crab, lobster, and shrimp rolls. They're all phenomenal. The bread is also fresh, soft, sweet and perfect. Very small dining area to eat in (only three four-tops and one two-top) and no restroom in the restaurant which was disappointing but that legit the only negative to this place.
If you love Lobster rolls you have to come here. You're missing out. If you think you don't like them, you've never had Luke's Lobster. Life changer.
Scattered throughout life are few moments you will always remember with the biggest smile. Most of them are personal/family/friends milestones or accomplishments and places traveled. Then there's the first time I had Luke's which fits right alongside these other memories.
It's been almost a month now and I cannot wait for my next visit.
Their delivery options are amazing. We got the lobster, crab, and Maine scallops. Spectacular combo, I highly recommend for any event or a dinner with friends. Luke’s is famous for their lobster which is of course 10/10, but their connections with fisherman in Maine ensures that everything is fresh off the boat.
Out of all the restaurants we tried, Luke's was the best place! The lobster flight was fantastic, and holy lobster were they filled with lobster. Absolutely delicious sauces and the lobster bisque was amazing! The manager and chef were also funny, sweet and served very quickly. I can't wait to come back next time!
Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, the lobster tasted delicious and fresh, and the staff is friendly. You can order at the register and then sit anywhere you like. I got the 4oz warm lobster roll and it is both pricey and small, but that was expected.

My second time after DC. Excellent food as always, for those lobster, crab, and shrimp lovers! Love the location, especially the public garden next to it.
The lobster rolls and clam chowder are to die for! James was an excellent host. Super friendly and made us feel right at home. We're so happy we stumbled upon this hidden gem we will definitely make it a stop on our list whenever we are in NYC.
Love their lobster roll and crab roll! I’ve been here twice during my trip to NYC, and ordered the trio for the first time, their crab and lobster taste good, but I don’t like the shrimp.
Truffle butter lobster roll and Crab roll is AMAZING! It was so good, our family came back twice during our trip to NYC. For those that complain they still hungry after paying $35, well buy 2. And if you can afford $35/$70. Go to McDonald’s. This ain’t ground beef.. it’s LOBSTER people! It’s like you want to drive a $100k New Escalade but only budget for a $5k used Ford Explorer. Smh…
Like many others I believe it is overpriced but so are many things in NYC. It was clean, the staff was friendly and had abundant available seating for lunch time. I think the rolls could of been better seasoned and felt it needed more than just the light sprinkling over the top. The clam chowder was probably the best part and seemed to have a decent amount of clam meat. I probably won't personally come back (especially for the rolls) but many people rave about it.
