This was our second time here, as we're not from NYC. Great food (had a burger) came with wonderful drinks, atmosphere, and service! Everything about the experience was worth the cost, which was not too exorbitant by any means! The place was very busy this time, but still very good service. The food tasted as if we were eating it seconds from it being pulled from the grill! We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area! The entire restaurant was kept clean, and had a pleasant aroma. The restrooms were very modern, and well stocked with the appropriate items. We were very surprised this time around to see that as busy as it was (it was a slow time our first time around) that the service still did not suffer whatsoever!
Good draft selection. This bar has a good selection of beers and draft and typical bar eats. The wait staff was friendly, the ambience convivial and the beer excellent. The happy hour specials are definitely enticing. Nice spot for a brew and a bite to eat.
The food and atmosphere were the best we experienced in NYC on a 5 day trip. Great portion sizes, the staff were incredibly kind, and went above and beyond to make sure all the guests were having a good experience! We had dinner, and then came back on our way to the airport the next morning to get breakfast because of how good it was! Highly recommend the Bayou shrimps, the Mexican street corn on the cob was fire, and the Mac and cheese was so good I ordered some to go to take back to my hotel for later. If I could give 6 stars I would. Definitely add Mom’s Kitchen and Bar to your trip list if you’re anywhere near Hell’s Kitchen or Times Square!
Service phenomenal! Food very flavorful just the way I expect brunch to be. Welcoming atmosphere, even other patrons were friendly; we indulged in conversation regarding the good food lol they had fried chicken which looked really delicious!
The menu was exactly what I was looking for on a cool, rainy day. The Crispy Chicken and Gravy really hit the spot! It comes with a choice of 2 sides, and the mashed potatoes and mac & cheese were delicious choices. The atmosphere was fun with a lot of 90s alternative playing! The service was also great, with some nice choices of beer on tap.
First off! I love this place and I haven’t been to a restaurant where I liked all the dishes I ordered at the same time in a long time I enjoyed EVERYTHING!! My most favorite if your going for brunch is definitely the pancake burrito - wrapped with eggs and cheese and topped with crispy bacon and sausage. My next favorite were the jumbo wings although it wasn’t really “jumbo” the sauce we chose was the best I ever had it’s called “Smokey BBQ” please order it you won’t be sorry! Our server could have been better and she also was working the bar but she threw me off when she decided to take a lunch break during her having tables or at-least our table but to top it all off we had an. Amazing welcoming experience with the host! Who’s name is Benny he made our day and my nephews day for his bday!!
Came to NewYork and walking past this place. Went in and was welcomed by a nice waiter. Ordered breakfast. Chicken and waffles. Chicken wings, pancakes and chicken burger. The food was excellent. Very well cooked and tasty sauces. Atmosphere was very busy but comfortable. The maple syrup was sweet and tangy with lemon and a hint of chilli. Everything was delicious and am planning to come here again before we leave. Excellent!!!!!!!!
Nice local spot that caters to a diverse group of patrons. Ordered the buffalo Mac n cheese balls and the chicken n waffles.
The chicken was a bit dry but the sauce was very good.
A interesting take on a mimosa since it came in a glass full of ice. Much rather just have a bottomless mimosa option.
Would come back again.
I read the rave reviews and stopped by. I was immediately greeted and seated. Atmosphere was fun with moderately loud music that I liked playing (90's rock/pop/ country). TV had a cartoon playing with no sound. A super friendly waitress took my order for cinnamon roll pancakes just a few minutes after I sat down. They came quickly and were nice and hot. They was good but I didn't order what I thought was an add-on of apple compote, but I got it anyway. They were good but not exactly what I expected. The pancakes themselves were either some flavor to seem like a cinnamon bun or made with something else as they were not white/ yellow like i expect a pancakes to look but brown. And there was not much of the cinnamon or icing toppings- just a drizzle around the plate and over the 3 pancakes- and no syrup so they were not as sweet as I expected. I know I have a sweet tooth but these were not my favorite. They might be great for someone else. I have had cinnamon roll pancakes at IHOP and Denny's and both were far sweeter than these. But the service and coffee were excellent and the pancakes were fluffy so maybe I will just try pain pancakes next time.
OMG! Favorite spot in Hell’s Kitchen for all-day brunch. Savory and delicious food, excellent service and the atmosphere was amazing. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and food. Cool spot to also listen to some 90’s hip hop and just have a few drinks. Definitely will be visiting next time I’m in NYC.
Visiting NY and landed here. Ordered a black bean burger. It was pretty good. The place is obviously pro LGBTQ, which I was happy to patronize. Server was attentive, and food came out rather quickly. Enjoyed the drink I ordered, and the environment was inviting. Would recommend!
Best chicken and waffles dish I’ve ever had. I crave it all the time. Waffles was fluffy and perfectly crisp on the outside. Chicken was fried perfectly as well - super flavorful and not oily. The sauce on top brings it all together as well. Get the hot chocolate as well (winter time)!
