Loving the Mexicali Vegan with Mexican Goddess dressing! Salad is much easier to eat and enjoy "chopt". Really fresh greens and other ingredients you can taste the difference compared to other fast salad chains. Comfortable clean seating area. Nice staff.
I forget how much I like salad! Not cheap, but not crazy expensive, Super tasty. I got the Cobb with a spicy avocado dressing. Yum!

I should upgrade the review. I left my water bottle in the shop. They have me to keep it and I finally got it back the next day , Thank you
I ordered my meal with cauliflower rice instead of grains (at least I thought I did). My meal was made with grains to which I’m allergic. I brought it back and spoke to the manager obviously a little upset. He showed me that there must have been some glitch in the order because it did indeed say gains, not cauliflower rice. The manager was kind and patient and quickly replaced my order.
I mean, I am a serious Chopt salad lover so believe me when I say these salads are delicious!! This location is particularly great, and if you order ahead you’ll be even happier as it gets pretty busy around noon. Get the Mexican Caesar salad with Mexican goddess dressing and the Mexicali vegan salad (add grains in the wintertime) and enjoy!!!! The staff are very kind and efficient.
Went for dinner. I got the MexiCali Vegan salad. I'm not a vegan, but thought the salad sounded like a good mix. The menu had a good layout that separated lower calorie salads, and more premium ones. I really enjoyed mine - it had a great flavor and was made really fast.
Always received the best customer service in this location! Great manager. Hustles right next to his co-workers, doing what needs to be done! Satisfied every time with salads and best of all, service! thank you!
As you enter this location, you may get a bit confused on how to approach making an order. Just walk on up and decide whether salad or sandwich. I had been waiting over a year or more to try this spot out. It's much similar to Subways or Chipotle in which your food is prepared right in front of you. Are much as everything is natural and organic, I didn't to like the overall smell of the place. It was a bit weird to me. I did love the food I ordered. It was amazing. I must say for a simple meal as I wanted, the cost was quite pricey. I dropped pretty much $12 on a salad. After I got over the price, I enjoyed my food and loved the experience of how they created the food and chopped up my lettuce and food items to blend it in for the rich experience of healthy eating.
I would definitely go back and probably try another location to see if it was just me or is the smell just that way at all places.
