I had a great evening at Bella Luna. The candle lit atmosphere was perfect and cozy for date night. The staff was helpful, but not too overbearing and most importantly the food was so good!! We got the shrimp pesto and lamb chops. We made same day reservations over the phone because it was showing they were booked online. When we arrived the restaurant was about half empty.
Amazing place, we did made a reservation, much recommended if you don’t want to wait. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. He gave a nice description of the dish and it exactly what we ordered. Even though We sat by the bar, we got great service. The dishes are a good size and could be shareable if you like small portions. Will definitely come back
We ordered:
-calamari
-linguine with meatballs (but we subbed the vodka sauce in)
-eggplant Parm with veggies on the side.
The calamari and linguine and meatballs with vodka sauce are a MUST. Will order both of those everytime.
The eggplant Parmesan was good but not great. Wish the veggies were seasoned.

I had burrata and fettuccine Alfredo which tasted like I was in Italy. My friend had lamb chops which she said were done to perfection and delicious. Prices were reasonable.
I've been coming here for a few years now and just went there for my birthday. The food is great, you can tell that they use quality ingredients. The service is excellent as the are always attentive and kind. Also, the atmosphere is like an oasis. It's a great place to pause from your busy schedule.
Excellent Italian restaurant on the Upper West Side. The Calamari appetizer was tasty and delicious. Salad appetizers fresh. A large number of main courses including brick oven pizza to choose from.
Linguine in white clam sauce absolutely delicious. And, with "real and large clams in the shell". Shrimp scampi and Lobster Ravioli were outstanding.
The Tiramisu was one of the best I've ever had.

PARENTS: Good place to take kids for the price. It’s a little tight, but the bathrooms are clean and they do offer outside seating.
The pizza, minestrone (veggie soup), and julienned vegetables. The total with tax, came to $30. Not bad! The pizza was shareable but it’s a little bigger than a personal pan pizza. Perfect for anyone who orders with a friend and you split everything. There’s enough but the other person should still order something else if you’re looking to be full from the meal. The minestrone soup wasn’t good. It lacked flavor and the zucchini chunks were under seasoned and too mushy. The cooked veggies had much more flavor!
I really enjoy this place. They have a vegan pizza. The linguini with clam has bit of broth on the bottom so it was refreshing.
Love that they still have outdoor seating and indoor still has dividers. Now that things are opening up other places have been quick to take them down. I really appreciate this place kept it up cause some people are high risk still.
The food is very good and made with fresh ingredients. The prices are reasonable. Their staff is friendly and helpful. We loved the pizza here, it was delicious!
