Delicious ice cream with multiple flavors that I've never seen before. They let you taste before deciding which ones you want. You're allowed to get 2 flavors regardless of the size you order, which is great for kids who want the kiddie size. I got a scoop of sweet cream, which was delicious, and another of strawberry, which was good but bland in comparison, with no strawberry chunks or anything (it tasted very natural, so if that's what you're looking for, it could be good for you). I'd definitely go back and try even more flavors!

So good, the ice cream at Ample Hills is incredible, some of the best I’ve ever had. Go for the Ooey Gooey, it has butter cake in it and it is delicious. They also sell the butter cake separately by the slice as well near the register. This is a great place to go, sometimes it can get crowded but if you’re in the mood for ice cream it is worth it!!

Definitely the best ice cream in New York, probably the world! It’s a very small space with only two tables so be prepared to take your cone elsewhere to enjoy! They will give you Samples galore so try everything :)

Ample Hills is my favorite ice cream spot in New York. They have tons of creative flavors, not just your regular vanilla or chocolate. My favorite is the munchies, which includes different types of chips and pretzels in a sweet cream base. The pricing model is also nice, letting you get two flavors with any size.

We didn't sit down, so I can't speak to the table service. However, we got 3 icecreams, 6 different flavors. All of them were very good. I don't know that they're the best in the city, but very good. There were a number of novel flavor combinations as well as old stand bys. Portions were ample - both my daughter and I got 'kid' sizes, which were the size of a small/medium at most places. Service was excellent - the counter person was friendly and prompt. Prices were in line with the area.

Today was one of the hottest days in NYC, it was 97 degrees, but felt like 109 (according to Iphone weather app), so it was the perfect day to get ice cream. There were about 5 people in front of us on the line and it went by fast. I got two flavors in a cup, The King of Mangoes which is a vegan mango sorbet and it was outstanding! And the other flavor I got was Peppermint Patties, which was also very delicious and refreshing on this super hot day. Definitely check this place out for some yummy ice cream.

So many exciting and inventive ice cream flavors, and they are all so tasty! Our group tried the flight, which is a great deal especially if you're sharing (6 mini scoops, $10). We especially loved the rainbow cupcake flavor!

Oh my goodness! If all the ice cream places I tried while visiting NY, this was definitely the best! Not only are their prices decent (I got a medium cup with four large scoops for about $6), but they have quite a large selection of delicious ice creams. The girl who helped me was very friendly and was happy to talk to me about all the different flavors. I sampled quite a few and they were all so good that it made for a hard decision. But I think I made the right call - one scoop of root beer with marshmallows, one of honeycomb, one of Chocolate with Oreos and one of oatmeal cookie. I think the last was my favorite, but that's a hard call to make. They were all fantastic! Every one was super creamy and bursting with sweetness. I know I'll be visiting this place again next time I'm in town!

Great place for ice cream! The flavours are unique, sizes are large (we got classic but could have gone with smaller!) and all homemade desserts, cost is a little expensive ($6 for classic) but by no means over priced! We went at noon and there was no line up, and a lovely snack for walking on the high line located right beside!

This place is so indulgent and delicious. Perfect for summer. Came here after dinner and ended up getting the summer of love which has Melissa's baked cupcakes with sweet cream ice cream, and the ooey gooey butter cake which tastes just like it sounds. So good. Will definitely come back when I deserve a reward!!
