Haven Rooftop

Came in for lunch on Christmas day with the family and we actually had a good experience. we had a nice seating area where it didnt feel so crowded. Rooftop was nicely decorated for the holidays - not over the top but still giving that vibe. We prepaid to reserve for 10 people and got a bunch of apps such as their hummus and pita (which was delicious), nicely seasoned truffle fries, good buffalo chicken wings, crab and avocado palette, and margherita pizza. Everything was enjoyable. for entrees there was no kids menu but we managed with the fries and penne. the group mostly got the same thing.Truffle spaghetti was good and had no overpowering truffle taste. Penne was nicely cooked as well and had good sauce. Staff was also attentive and made sure food came out timely. overall had a good experience and definitely enjoyed ourselves with the food and ambiance.

I was looking for some place to grab a quick drink, and the place I pulled up on Maps was a sports bar. It definitely was not the scene I was looking for. Haven is located inside of a hotel, is a rooftop bar, and was just a few doors down. You check in downstairs and then are sent up as space becomes available. I only had to wait about 5 minutes to end up in a seat. My friend and I both ordered mimosas. These mimosas were champagne forward, but the orange juice was quite prevalent as well. It was the house champagne, and it was very good. Pricing was about average for New York. They also offer a brunch, but we arrived after the window of time. The space we were in looked like a large pergola covered in sheets, macrame, and wooden, handmade lamp shades with lights inside. The lighting was mellow, and the sound was calm. I can't recall if there was music playing in the background, but the conversation was light and private, in spite of the fact that we were all in the same room. Our waiter, Luis, was quite sweet and got us out of there within 30 minutes. I did not try any of the food, as we were only there for a drink. But it is an environment that I would willingly visit again for its comfort and calm.

Came here to meet up with my friends and the ambiance was just everything. Quite perfect for brunch, really. Food was okay, it wasn’t the greatest but I wouldn’t say it was the worst either. It honestly tasted as it should taste. Ordered some wings, burger, nachos, truffle fries and sangria. I would say my favorite would be the burger. The best part of this place is the service you get from the staff though. Very kind, nice and entertaining. I truly had a blast with my friends because of their service.
