Great vibes, incredible chicken tikka masala (should I grow up and branch out in my Indian food choices absolutely but I don't see that happening any time soon), and really great service. Drinks are a bit pricy but not far outside of the norm.

We usually sit in the outside structure, it’s heated in the winter and beeezy in the summer. We are locals so drunken munkey has become our go to for Indian food. We are huge fans of their paos (Indian sandwich/burger/wrap) but I believe they only serve them until 6 or 7pm. We also enjoy their paneer masala, lamb kebab, shrimp curry, and daal. Their crispy okra is a must have! If you order the pani puri, ask for the pani on the side so the puris won’t get soggy if you are eating slowly or sharing. Sometimes when they get busy, they do take a little longer, but it makes sense bc of how popular they are. Better to have a reservation, otherwise you may have to wait a little. It is pricey for Indian food; but 100% worth it

Favorite restaurant in all of NYC coming from a life long local. The food is excellent every time and the drinks are the best cocktails in the city. But what really makes this place special is the staff. From the owners to the bartenders and waitresses, they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure you have a great night. A special shoutout to Luis the host, who has become a friend after all the times I've been there throughout the years. His service is impeccable and he is just a blast to hang out with. I recently had a celebratory dinner for a large group of friends and family here and Luis accommodated all our requests and made it an unbelievable night! Come here for any special occasion or just drop by to have a cocktail and snacks and chat with the bartender. They can do it all.

Indian food with Americanized flavors to it. Great ambiance and service - a decent menu offering making it simple to choose and not overwhelming. Love their bartender - amazing cocktail menu and perfect pour. Tried a couple of them, one with gin base and another one with bourbon base. The gajar ka halwa with ice cream and toffee pudding are out of the world. All my visits post the first one have just been for drinks and desserts. Skip the food and go to desserts directly - mantra!!

This is one of my faves on the UES. The menu is more limited than other places but what they have is excellent. My favorite is the butter paneer tikka masala with their special spiced old fashioned. Yum. Delivery is good too.

Very nice ambience. So friendly staff. Good food. It was bit americanized for the crowd here. So spices were subtle. But we liked the food. Tried shrimp cocktail appetizer, chicken briyani and gajar halwa. Shrimp cocktail was decent but was a bit bland and quantity was very very less. Just 5 pieces for the price. Chicken briyani was good though americanized with spices. Gajar ka halwa was so good.

Easily the best Indian food I've ever had! Luis and Marina were so sweet and made brunch an event - even asking if we had any music requests. I can't wait to go back for more!!

Great little Indian place on the UES. The ambience is really what makes it worth visiting. The food was good, could use more heat in the chicken masala however the chicken Samosas were amazing!
