VEGAN FOOD Very unusual for me to rate grocery store food BUT! Whole Foods made it possible. Aside of the varies Vegan options like bakery products, such as brownies, muffins, cakes and donuts; they also serve 1 vegan pizza option. Have a look in the fresh Pizza section where they can warm it up for you. (near the cash register on the second floor) the pizza was surprisingly good! By the way! The vegan blueberry muffins were also great! Why 4 stars and not 5? Because I wish Whole Foods would have a singled out area within the store for only plantbased products gathered together. (Vegan Cold cuts, vegan cheese, and so on) it would make shopping as a vegan much easier and efficient. Have a look at the pictures!

Went here at night and got a fairly good amount of beef brisket, macaroni and cheese and potatoes for only $15 plus tax, all of which were of midtown restaurant quality. This location has a fairly spacious table seating area and working bathrooms, but no electrical outlets for patron use. The F train and the M15 bus is just a small walk away from here. I would go here again.

Was there many times, place is clean, well-lit and well-arranged. They have tons of flowers in it, beautiful flowers too. Great beer selection, like no where else. Good variety of non alcoholic beers

This is the best grocery store in the neighborhood. Their selection of organic and non GMO food is astounding. With friendly personable staff that will help you from start to finish. I cannot explain how such a well put together store has helped me with my grocery needs. Everything is legitimate and authentic unlike a lot of local stores. This place is the real deal, and they always have discounts and sales. Highly recommended for athletes and bodybuilders. Thanks again guys!

if you need a review about Whole Foods to decide whether you should shop there then you are lost in the sauce. and that is why my review isn’t about the grocery store itself but its pizza bar which has been refurbished. a totally welcome upgrade bc the pizza quality has leveled up, too. the pizza bar serves up a variety of pies from pepperoni ones to more complex pies. however, i am fairly impressed with WF’s large cheese pizza which is pretty good rendition of NYC pie—flavorful sauce, melty cheese, and a fairly thin crust with little to no flop. for a pizza made at a grocery store, people should not sleep on this pizza pie. a whole pie is the 18” standard and it delivers on being better than just okay…i’d say the plain cheese pizza is actually good and a worthwhile option if you need a pie to go. the secret is that the plain cheese is fairly basic, ain’t fancy, and uses a simple mix of ingredients. ordered a pie to go and it took about 10-15 minutes in the pizza oven at Whole Foods. easy peasy. anyway Whole Foods will not replace your favorite pizzeria…however it is pretty convenient to do some grocery shopping and then pick up pizza on the way out. also WF sells pizza by the slice here too, but i have only tried freshly made pies.

Whole Food Market is THE best supermarket ever, with good fresh ingredients. I came here today for lunch and I've explored the whole buffet. I live the fact that I can customize a salad but also eat warm dishes from many kinds. the buffet is clean and arranged nicely and the team is always working hard to keep it like that. I wish my sister could be here with me

I like their 365 brand. (Not completely sure of the quality yet.) I don't like the deceptive Prime advertisements that I think I'm getting the deal on. I like that they have a meat counter where I can buy as much as I need. I love that they carry soy creamer, even though it's got astronomically expensive. I find their checkout people very helpful. Some of their stores are nicer than others.

This is one of the best wholefood I've been so far in Manhattan. Located on Houseton, and close to the trains. The stocks are very organized.

Service has been great up until checking out. Cashiers seem to be extremely frustrated not at customer but about their day in general. Been going here for years. One of the same cashiers that's been working there for some time who was always happy and friendly. Now looks like they are waiting for the day to end so they can run out of there. Everyone seems overworked and unfortunately takes it out unintentionally on customer by careless attitude, ignoring requests to separate detergent from seafood and placing squash able items at bottom of bag and then putting heavy items on top. A bit frustrating and sad to see this happen at LES store. I've actually switched to union square and Bryant Park WF's. Due to the extremely consistent poor checkout experience. I don't even dare ask for anything to be bagged separately. I let them tell me total and after if necessary go to side and rearrange delicate items that were placed beneath heavy items. Recommend other locations.

Clean and easy to maneuver. The hydrangeas are gorgeous! They looked so cute in bud vases for my party! Lisa Steele Author of The Fresh Eggs Daily Cookbook
