El Parador Cafe - New York City - Photo album

Nice place with good food. Friendly and helpful personal. Fresh made guacamole and fried ice cream must have.
While my long term partner and I are not Spanish in ethnicity, we felt right at home here. The staff was welcoming and emphatic to make sure our experience was an enjoyable one. While there were no available tables at our reserved time, we waited at the bar for a few and found pleasure in a pair of
El Parador in New York offers a dining experience that successfully combines atmosphere and culinary mastery. The establishment's lighting is particularly noteworthy, casting a soft, ambient glow that enriches the overall dining experience without overpowering it. This careful illumination complemen
This was one of those great finds of a restaurant we didn't realise was so close to where we live. Been here several times now and the food has been consistently excellent. My favourite dish has to be the fajitas, but the tacos are good as are the enchiladas. All of them are big portions and come w
The salsa is served warm and is delicious. The tortilla chips were fresh and hot. We had the shrimp quesadillas and old school tacos. Both were delicious. The bartender is such a pro. Highly recommend.
Old fashioned Mexican restaurant in midtown east. Place has been there forever and retains it's old new york charm without feeling dusty or dated. Excellent salsa that's actually served warm which is a departure from the typical tex mex places in nyc. Chile rellenos was delicious. Very good guacamol
I make sure to stop here for dinner every time I'm in town. My grandfather has been coming since the 1960's and we love keeping the tradition alive. The menu is always fresh and original, portions are great, and the drinks are delicious. Worth the stop every single time!
Good service and quick. Did not like the fact that it was little too dark for my liking (lighting inside the place). The food was OK, but not great. It did satisfy my Mexican food craving but definitely had better before.
The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, and the food is really good. I like their shrimp fajitas and margaritas. Also they serve complimentary chips and salsa - the salsa is warm and very good. The menu is definitely on the pricier side, especially if comparing to other Mexican restaurants. Despite tha
This is a Great restaurant, we were very happy to go. They accommodated us even though we called for a reservation only 2 hours prior. The menu clearly had marked vegetarian options which is key for my family as we are vegetarian. The waiter was very much in his game, the only slip up was that he br
Nice Mexican restaurant with old school vibes. Some of the clientele was rude but you can't fault the restaurant for that.
Asked our waiter for a drink show him ingredients he did not bother to ask the bartender to make it happen for me. Simple I did not got my drink. The rest of the service was fine.
I had never heard of this place before and my friend invited me. We had lunch, the food was very good. The bartender and waiter were friendly and adorable. The atmosphere was calming and cute. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the tres leches. I’ll be back.
Great salsa with chips. Chorizo appetizer was very good. Not too crazy about the Chili peppers with peanut butter. But the tacos were excellent.
I went there with my team from our work place, we really liked our food! I ordered spinach quesadillas! Good service and good value for your money! I took one point off just because they don't have a vegetarian salsa with their chips!! I mean who doesn't keep vegetarian salsa with chips in 2021, es
Oscar makes a terrific margaritas. I remember when my mother took me to El Parador and the maitre d' was the most beautiful man in NYC in the 60's. Not sure but I think nothing has changed since then so roll under the scaffolding and back into time and enjoy.
Beautiful and cozy!!! The food is very authentic and beyond delicious. The margarita is absolutely amazing and probably my favorite in NYC. The service was quick and the staff is very friendly. A good option if you're dining alone or gathering with a group of friends.
The place looks old mexico style, the waiter very nice and attentive. The food was good and came out quick and fresh. The drink was good as well.
