Decided to come here for dinner one day and was really impressed. The staff were super friendly, the interiors was wonderful especially sitting near the fire place they had made me feel so warm and cozy. All the food I had there were delicious! One unique dish that we had was rabbit. We ordered this dish since we never had rabbit before. Honestly, it didn't taste much different than chicken to me. Everything was delicious!

Really wonderful food in a welcoming environment. Every dish was truly outstanding. Seafood and rabbit are two major proteins in cuisine from Puglia so there are many great options on the menu. High recommend the rabbit ragu as well as the stratciatella appetizer. The owner is also very knowledge about wines.

Very good experience at I Trulli. Went during restaurant week and the portion sizes were still very big.The stracciatella (mozzarella cheese with pickled eggplant) was delicious. The owner was also very nice. Will definitely be back!

This place needs more stars, especially on Yelp. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food from Puglia - which is the heel region of Italy, you need to make your way here. I trulli has been open for around 25 years, and Mamma Dora is still here (not as often of course) to make fresh pasta like orecchiette and Cavatelli. All pastas are handmade on a daily basis, along with the bread and the panzerotti - that you have to get cause OMG. If you’re looking for traditional food from Bari you’re in for a treat, just their focaccia Barese is to die for ❤️ I definitely recommend their stracciatella, as well as the Polpette, aka their signature meatballs. Flavorful, soft and oh so yummy - and believe me when I say I’m ultra picky when it comes to meatballs. The sauce they come in is perfect as well, sweet and with the right hint of acidity. If you go there for lunch don’t skip out on their pastas: try both the orecchiette with rabbit ragù and the Cavatelli with broccoli rabe and crunchy almonds and give the coniglio alla Barese a try, or go for the grilled swordfish. As far as dessert, why not finishing the way you began - with a panzerotto? This time with Nutella! Perfect, especially paired with a nice espresso (or a macchiato if you’re like me). I already have reservations for December - but to be honest I might go back even sooner than that 😂

This place was good, but I was a bit disappointed to be honest. I had seen some photos on Instagram and Google, and I think I had built it up to be something it wasn't. The service was great, the food was good, but that was just it. It was just good. There are plenty of places to eat in NYC and I'm not sure I could recommend coming here.

Wonderful and graceful service, beautiful seating both indoor and outdoor, plates are a bit pricey to be honest but they would pay off.

My work had a large gathering here so my review will be targeted at a large catered event. Our gathering was located in the back patio. This was a lovely space and it gave the feel of a nice private event. The food was very good. We had hand passed appetizers that were all tasty. There was a second round of appetizers placed on the table that were good but not amazing. For dinner, we had a choice between 5 entrees. I ordered the steak which was good but served very rare. Everyone was pleased with their meals. I will have to go back to try the actual menu. My deduction of one star comes from the logistical aspect of the event. There seemed to be a lack of servers for such a large group and the restaurant didn't provide things like microphone or a screen which are nice to have for an event. Not a deal breaker but just a small knock.

Dined here with my wife and son on a Friday night. Sat in their outdoor garden room which was nice and warm because they employ multiple propane heaters. Good wines by the glass. I did not like the pulpo (octopus) appetizer, but the fried calamari and shrimp was good. The short ribs and pecorino mashed potatoes were a home run - really good. The wife liked her branzino. My son did not really like the chicken entree. We had some biscotti for dessert - they were good. Service was excellent.

This restaurant was designed like a living room with a fire place. Its nice and comfy. In the back they have a portion that looks patio-ish/green house. I tried a fixed course meal and it was good not great. I want to boast about the service. It's absolutely perfect! The waiters never leave you without. When you are done with your plate or drink at least 4 hands come scooping the empties away. They explain what it is your drinking/ eating when they place something new in front of you.

My wife and I had the pleasure of having dinner at this great restaurant last Saturday. We were warmly greeted and were seated at a quiet table in the back corner .The atmosphere is wonderful and the restaurant has a beautiful fireplace which just adds to the ambiance. The service was impeccable...the wine list extensive and the food was 5 star from the appetizers to desert . We could not have been happier with our experience. We are looking forward to having dinner here the next time we visit NYC .
