First of all, this place is in Macy's NYC right on the 6th floor. I've probably eaten here a half-dozen times. It has a wall of windows providing spectacular views, along with characatures of the celebrities who've eaten here. Even with all these unique features, the main event is still the food. On a recent visit, I started with a glass of Pinot Grigio. This was light and perfect for the early Spring day. The polite and attentive waitstaff (team) quickly provided me with water and bread, which I dipped in olive oil and thoroughly enjoyed. I had a big salad as my meal this time. I chose Di Verdure with poached chicken and I found it to be fresh, served in perfect bitesized pieces, and dressed well. It wasn't soggy at all, thank goodness, and with the freshly-ground black pepper that was offered, it was also seasoned perfectly! On past visits I've enjoyed their blistery margarita pizza, pasta with mushroooms, and roasted vegetables with Parmesan. Next time I'm trying a fish dish. These chefs know their stuff!

The food was excellent and our waiter Fulvio Belucci was awesome. He couldn't do enough to please us. Such a gentleman! Started talking to him and ironically found out he's from the same area in Italy where my husband's grandparents are from. We'll certainly be back and definitely ask for him. (we're from down in South Jersey)
Absolutely beautiful place with the best staff.
Food what AMAZING,
The service by CANDICE was simply top class in every detail.
Manager JOE make our stay just perfect!
We will come back!
Had a wonderful experience at Stella’s. It was a little difficult to find, even though I have been here before. We came during the weekday after work so the space was pretty empty and open for relaxing we had great views of 34th st.
We ordered the mushroom pizza, pot of tea, side of eggplant Parmagian and cup of coffee. Everything was very yummy and true to taste. The parm was to DIE for I would eat a whole try of this. Service was very nice but the space is large so you do have to spend a little time catching the waiters attention.
Only thing to up the experience would have been more fresh bread for the table while we waited
I love this restaurant for its excellent food (compliments to David the Chef) and atmosphere. I love a restaurant where I can actually talk to my company and not be shouting. Perfect place for an excellent meal and real conversation. Joe, the manager, is very attentive, and the rest of the staff is as well.
I came here for Lunch..after we walked around and shopping finished. That's an experience a little Italy restaurant in America's Largest Department Store Macy's Herald Square. We enjoyed Salad(Di Verdure) and pasta (Shrimps Risotto) Great service and Yummy Food.
Had dinner at during a weeknight and was seated immediately. Tried the calamari, quattro stagioni pizza, and linguine pasta. Calamari was nicely fried without being greasy. The start of the show was the linguine pasta! Perfectly seasoned and tasty! the stracciatella di bufala created a nice creamy sauce without being heavy that paired perfectly with the mushroom forward flavor. Service was wonderful and on point!
This is very cozy and cute rooftop restaurant in NYC and I had my first dinner date here and trust me the ambiance is so good. The food was delicious and the best chocolate dessert I had in the Harold square area. The chef here was very friendly and custom made the Pizza as per my requirements and the pasta was so fresh and the seasoning was perfect. Love the presentation of the food. Worth trying this place.
Impressive little restaurant inside Macy’s. Food was incredible, all the employees were super kind and polite. One dish we ordered took a little longer to come out than the others, so the restaurant rose to the occasion and served us at least $50 in desserts and drinks to make up for it. Special thanks to Ariana the waitress and all the other servers.
Loved drag brunch here! We sat at a table in the middle-ish, where we had a view of the DJ, and were able to see the drag queens for the majority of the performances, while others had pillars blocking their views. We got there at about 11:15 to line up, and we were second in line, so that helped for getting a good table once they let us in around 11:45.
Make sure you bring cash to give to the queens! Even though their venmos are shared, it's way more fun to be able to give some cold hard cash. When you walk in, they have someone exchanging larger bills for singles, so don't worry about bringing ones.
As many other reviews have noted, the drag queens were amazing and the show was so fun, but the food was just ok. I actually quite enjoyed the strawberry shortcake waffle, but the banana nutella waffle was pretty bad; it was sort of stale tasting, bland, and the "nutella" was very watered down. Definitely worth it for the fun show, but go with managed expectations on the food!
We went for the dinner on Thanksgiving so the entry to the resturant through the store was closed this created confusion and we had to call the resturant couple of times and then someone came down and opened the service elevator entry at the side of the building, they could have let us know when we made the reservation. The service was quick and the waiters were calm and focussed for a busy evening. We had from the Thankgiving menu our party had Spaghetti, Rissotto, grilled fish and Turkey. Per my husband grilled fish was a bit dry, the Spaghetti kids size the portion was small, mushroom rissotto was spot on. We chose pumpking pie for dessert and it was delicious. The ambience is very nice seating is comfortable and spaced they have cool featers on the wall
Excellent for HH, if you can get over the fact it’s inside Macy’s. Quiet. Bartenders are cool. You’ll never get a buy back here- too corporate. Mostly Karen’s and Chad tourists. Random kewl people who are hiding. Bar HH snacks and Dranks are really good for midtown.
