I always have oysters here they are the best across town. Very well cooked steak and lobster. Excellent and friendly service. You canโt fault it when you go here.
Mark Joseph is a quintessential location for a higher end steakhouse experience- I came here during restaurant week and dined on their 59 dollar menu.
For my appetizer I had the lobster bisque as was recommended- it had small chunks of lobster with a nice deep lobster flavor, it's served with fresh
The bartender Mike is great. He is very friendly and helpful. Made many good recommendations for food. Also, great dirty martinis ๐๐ป their fries are delicious and the steak sandwich which you can only order at the bar or lunch is fantastic. Also, I recommend the thick cut Canadian bacon. So good
Top notch steakhouse. I'd rate it above Wolfgang's, Charlie Palmer and even Benjamin's. Polite staff, great food and a perfectly charred outside which contemplates the juicy, decadent inside of the meat.
We went here for their restaurant week promotion. The only steak house offering a 14 oz cut of steak with no additional cost added to your tab. The sirloin steak was delicious and came with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. Can't really beat that on top of a free appetizer and a dessert. We added
A regular steakhouse I always come to when visiting New York. Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Always perfectly cooked steak to whatever temperature you want.
Steak was good chicken didn't really have flavor but the skin was cooked to perfection. The brownie desert was the smallest I've ever seen. Waiter was great bathroom was clean.
Porterhouse and bone in rib eye are great! Creamed spinach isn't too creamy either. Broccoli rabe was only okay, it's skippable.
For appetizers we got bacon and calamari, highly recommended to get them
The most recent NYC Restaurant Week lunch was a great deal, even if it didn't include an appetizer and dessert. I got the sirloin and it was great. Pair that with the $8 house wine and you're all set. The waitstaff was fantastic and friendly. Would highly recommend even without the deal, been he
Came here for Restaurant Week had a good experience overall. The items we ordered off of the regular menu were perfect. The items I got from restaurant week menu we're good but could have been a little better.
The restaurant Week offering for baked clams were the size of a quarter. Definitely not wo
Lobster and oysters were good but clams were not fresh. Steak was good but.. I'll say that I've made better dry age steaks at home.
Restaurant week menu was a great deal at $26 per person for three courses. Baked clam appetizer, sirlion and a ice cream dessert. The service was on the slow side however.
I went with 4 friends an the service was awesome ,the food was excellent to the very last bite. Thank you to your service. I will be back
We couple had Peter Luger just last month. MarkJoseph here is also great at dry age steaks, has great bacon strip, and wonderful service and atmosphere. Today we had restaurant week lunch choices of sirloin 14oz and filet 8oz. Both great and we shared both tastes. Of course median rare.
