great shop! sometimes hard to find a seat, but there’s an upstairs seating area as well. food and coffee is always good and prices are decent for the city. the staff is lovely! i highly recommend the coffee subscription if you live or work near a Pret- it pays for itself if you get 3 or more coffees a week.
Food here are delicious and service were awesome! The staff were really helpful and put the customer’s need first.
I have loved Pret ever since it came to NYC. Their food is fresh and good and, for the most part, healthy. A side salad and half sandwich combo was $12 and $5 for strawberry lemonade. Service was decently fast. They have seating upstairs which is warm and comfy. However, the bathroom situation is atrocious. I didn’t get a receipt so I had to go downstairs and wait to ask an employee. One bathroom either had a patron for 30 min or was actually closed and the other one was disgusting with no toilet paper. This is especially disappointing in NYC where there are no public bathrooms and you need to pay to use. Still love Pret but they need a little more staff at this location .
Great, strong coffee. When I can, I sit by the window and watch the people and cars go by. Very good salads and decent sandwiches. Staff have always been courteous at the locations I have visited (NYC and DC).
Usually have a great experience here, this is my everyday stop for coffee, oatmeal, parfait or Mac and cheese. I know most of the staff here and one if the employees knows my order by heart. Had to dock a star for an experience I had today with a barista that is relatively new. As of recent, everytime I order a latte I get it with cold milk. Today I said something and the woman had an attitude and refused to remake my drink. Someone else finally remade it for me after standing there being ignored for almost 10 mins. A latte should be made with steamed milk so I'm unsure why shortcuts like that are being made.. this barista needs to be retrained properly in customer service and how to make drinks.

This Pret location has decent costumer service and I love to observe the baristas because I also am a barista and know what it’s like to be on the other side of the counter.
I really appreciated the one guy who served me the first time I ever stepped foot into a Pret coffee shop. He greeted me and my elderly friend Anne, (who is a very frequent consumer at this Pret), with a kind smile, and right away I could tell he was genuine. I can usually pick up within the first few seconds of my interaction with a barista, wether or not she/he truly cares about me as a costumer. As I went to pay for my chai he told me that it was on him. Wow, you don’t know how blessed I was. As a barista, I also love to randomly bless costumers and cover it with my tips…but I never expected someone else would do so for me! Whoever this guy is, I think he deserves a raise as well as some praise 😉 I wish I knew his name to give him the credit he deserves…
He is younger and has longish hair…you’ll probably know who I’m talking about because he is the most friendly worker there. Also, once I tried to tip the baristas, but they said tips are not allowed. I think that’s sad. Is there any way that the baristas can get some sort of rewards from the costumers?
Great location and a huge establishment. Coffee is ok, not amazing. They play good music. Not that clean though, especially toward the evening. There are crumbs all over many tables and garbage sitting around that no one is cleaning. Also there was no milk at the coffee stand. How do you run a coffee show with no cream/milk available?
Good place for coffee, sandwiches and other hot food. Have a variety of coffee as standard and likewise for food. Good seating with additional seating upstairs.
The staff here is always pleasant. Nice and professional.
Deceivingly large place with plenty of space to sit and rest, good for families or independent ventures. Food is good, not a great place if you're a foodie but good enough if you need something quick and of sufficient quality.
Upstairs sitting area (which has the majority of the seating in the place) lacks outlets. Be ready to work on battery power.
