The only thing that I was surprised they didn't have the tostadas with steak or chicken. They only had a avocado tostada. I hope they add that to their menu.
Other than that it was a great meal.
Easily the best tacos I’ve ever had! You have to try the cheesy shrimp tacos, they are the bomb! Be careful with the special hot sauce they serve it with cos it’ll blow your head off but in a good way! So delicious! The place itself could possibly be the most instagramable fast food joint in NYC! 5 stars!!!
Absolutely delicious! Great friendly service as well! We were only in NYC for a few days, but had to return to have some delicious tacos.
This is a great example of simple and fast Mexican food right in the heart of soho. Great service and a nice outdoor patio for when the weather warms up. A short and simple menu that delivers consistently.
Try the Mexican street corn as an appetizer, and the birras, carne asada and pastor tacos. The burritos also look like they are worth an order.
If you’re in the neighborhood and in search of tacos come give this place a try.

Great authentic Mexican food. They make their own corn tortilla chips totopos fresh every morning and this is why a portion of guacamole with totopos is a must when visiting. Lovely customer service and nice atmosphere. I’m for sure coming back for the amazing flavors!
We stopped her specifically because I was craving micheladas. We sat down and ordered 6 michelada for the table, I really wanted my cousins to give the drink a taste as they've never tried it before.
I've tried the drink in a lot of restaurants all over Mexico, and Toronto - I had a lot of samples to compare to. Unfortunately, the micheladas here had to be the worst version of the drink I've tried so far.
The service and atmosphere was great though, and I'm sure the food here is good as people around us seemed to really enjoy it. I just wouldn't recommend micheladas here.
Atmosphere was great and food was delicious but the tacos are $7 each. That's almost the price of a margarita in happy hour!!! Way too expensive IMHO.
I've been to a couple of different Tacombi's in the city, and the consistency in their food has always been great. Service is good with staff making sure your food is good and if you need another drink. Their new Birria tacos are delicious, and I would recommend ordering two orders because it'll be off your plate before you know it. Personally love their Carne Asada and Baja fish tacos and any of the drinks on their menu is a hit in my opinion.
