I had the great pleasure of ordering a cheese plate from Bedford Cheese for a party this weekend and I was SO glad I did. The plate was gorgeous with all these beautiful details (nuts, fruits, peppers, honey, etc) and the cheeses and meats were of the most awesome quality. Guests raved and I was thrilled since it was one less major thing I had to focus on!

Just spoke with Kai who has an unbelievable knowledge about cheese. I've never even heard about this Swedish cheese from a farm almost 700 years old, but there you go. I'm also leaving a review so they can see the spelling of the cheese I requested, that perhaps they could find out why it's not permitted in the US due to sodium nitrate concentrations (or maybe it is, and I'm mistaken). Anyway, the cheese I wanted is called Västerbottensost. I've attached a photo too. Bondost, Hushållsost, and Prästost are also gold standard cheeses in Sweden. And in case you couldn't tell, ost is the word for cheese in Swedish. See that? You learn something new every day. Glad ost! Happy cheesing everybody!!

This shop has so many cute and unique items to browse and purchase! They have a lot of specialty/local cheese and meats and artisanal accompaniments.
It’s also a lunch spot if you like sandwiches! Super cute and would come back if I need to build a charcuterie board.

FFS, this place is a charcuterie fan’s dream! Hands down the best place in NYC to get all of the things you need to make your charcuterie dreams a reality. The staff is super friendly and helpful, prices are a bit steep but you get what you pay for.
