UPDATE: Amy is a true artist and entrepreneur in her own right. She is a incredibly ardent supporter of the theatre here in NYC and I want to personally thank her for providing the hospitality she provided for our Legs Diamond Concert event at Lincoln Center.
Thank you Amy, as always, your breads were perfection!

I want to give a huge shoutout to Amy for her generosity to Amas Musical Theatre's Re-opening Celebration. The breads were delicious and enjoyed by our guests! I am an Artistic Associate with Amas and from all of us we want to THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Amy is a true entrepreneur and wonderful spirit of a humanity expressed through her craft of baking. I have been with her since she opened her doors some 20 years ago and will continue to be a patron and friend! Thanks Amy for all you do!

I think one can agree this is one of the best (if not the best) bakeries in the neighborhood

Tried a sampler bag with sourdough, olive cake, pumpkin cake ( fall season deliciousness), and parmesan cheese bread. It was all incredible and reasonably priced. I take it home and warm it up for a cozy snack.

Top place in New York City to get some German style bread here. It was delicious, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Very cozy place! We ordered to go so unfortunately we didn't get the chance to fully experience the place's vibe. We had a cream cheese and a PB&J bagel, plus a coffee. The bagels were tasty with a nice texture, and the filling quantity was well balanced.

Is a great bakery store with chosen choices of dough to start your day with and a break with a snack

The cappuccino was okay, but the muffin was way too dry. Cute coffee cups and a nice atmosphere.

Many years ago when I started to learn how to bake I took out The Amy’s Bread cookbook from the library and I was amazed that there were so many recipes for all kinds of baked goods. I told myself I would always go to the bakery one day and see for myself. I was awestruck of all the baked goods. I got a Devil’s food cupcake because I live for chocolate. I got two chocolate sourdough rolls because I’ve never seen a pastry like that before and I got a pistachio croissant for my best friend.

The BEST chocolate croissants EVER! I always buy as many as they have. They freeze very well. When ready to eat, taken them out the freezer, place in the toaster oven and watch until the chocolate starts melting and enjoy! You're welcome.

If you’re looking for a loaf of bread to bring to a get-together, look no further. This spot has delicious bread, muffins, and pastries of all kinds. The bunny print sour dough loaf was a lovely hit at Easter dinner.
