Caracas Arepa Bar - New York City - Photo album

It's slow service but the arepa is authentic , tasty and filling. After a workout, you may crave for a crispy meal that is less plain than a salad, more healthy than a burger. The ambiance brings you to South America.
Excellent food! The place is very small, there are probably around 16 seats inside, but it wasn’t crowded when I visited. The vibe is cute, the waiter was great and the food is really, REALLY delicious!! In case you’re a vegetarian, there are plenty of options, as they offer to swap the meat for tof
Food is always fresh, servers are really nice and friendly. Only didn’t give it 5 stars because there was only one guy for the entire restaurant. I realize it’s not big but I thought the service could be a bit faster if one more person would be working.. other than that, great experience. Definitely
This spot is STRAIGHT FIIIIRRRREEEE! You aint gonna find none of those fluffly yellow street fair arepas up in here! The food is magnificent. Oh and the SAWCE!!! Need that secret recipe bottled up like yesterday. The service is lightning quick. The experience is amazing. The wife and I spent our 6 m
It's a miracle that places like that still exist in Manhattan. Big thanks to the kind and welcoming owner of this precious gem to provide his patrons with authentic food and real smiles. The arepas literally moved me, reminding me of my trips to South America. Flavorful, rich but not heavy, an explo
A very small restaurant with delicious arepas and a good selection of options. The sides are good too. Prices are reasonable and service is friendly. The neighborhood is worth exploring as well.
It's a really small place so don't go there thinking you will stay for too long but it's so authentic and beautiful. The food was so great and it really made me feel like I was back home. They also have vegetarian options like tofu and not all of the arepas have meat in them so everyone can enjoy. T
This place is amazing and the food is so tasty!! Great service and ambiance is very relaxed as well. It is a small restaurant so beware of having to wait. It’s worth it though! Also, their sangria is really good!
The place is small but I think thats the reason I liked it so much, it's charming and the service is great. I'm venezuelan (born and raised) and I loved the food!! Didn't take pictures of the arepas tho ☹️
My favorite arepa spot. Vegetarian options delicious treats. Authentic feels like eating in your Aunt kitchen. Micheladas are great. Every bite of every arepa is delicious! Try a cocada for dessert!
If you're looking for traditional, authentic, quality food come check out Caracas Arepa! Friendly staff, quick service and reasonably priced entrees. It's a cozy spot (great for 2 people), easy to miss from the outside and is decorated with unique photos and collectables items. We tried sweet plant
This place is super small but the set up is really cute. I felt like I was somewhere else. So colorful. Not ideal for a big group though. Now the food was amazing look at this arepa definitely going back.
Very small restaurant, but has fierce and bold flavor! It’s always full, so be prepared, but it’s well worth it! Service was great and the environment was really unique! And my goodness, the De Pabellón Arepa was outstanding, beans and shredded beef were perfect!
I’m an arepa lover! Our arepas here were crunchy and the fillings where delicious with an interesting fusion of Venezuela and Mexico/Centro America flavors.
Oh the nostalgia!!! It has been over 10 years since I've visited this location, and I must say it hasn't changed one bit (in a good way). Growing up in a Colombian household, I know a thing or two about eating arepas, but I must say the Venezuelans got it right! Caracas Arepa perfected the Arepa!!!
Everything was so fresh, all ingredients were perfectly balanced, service was friendly. Delicious. Pretty small hole in the wall type of feel
Definitely the spot to go to for a quick bite! the arepas are fantastic and the customer service is great. make sure you stop by this bar on your next trip to New York City!
So good! Papelon con limon was 👌🏼and so many yummy arepas to choose from. I got the chicken and mushroom with avocado and pickled onions.💥 They also have soup specials and a cogent selection of starters with cotija and plantains. Beautiful locally owned restaurant, coming back soon!
Great food and ambient! Really enjoyed the music and awesome arepas selection. Would recommend without a doubt.
