You can’t go wrong. Weather it’s a special occasion or a regular dinner you won’t be disappointed. This place is iconic. Humberto is an amazing bartender definitely ask for him. He never disappoints.

Walked in on Tue evening 7pm and was sat right away in the back. Two of us shared Caesar salad, oxtail empanada and mains the Churrasco - which was cooked to perfection. The rice and beans had a bit of a crunch and seasoning overall was well balanced. Didn’t have cocktails or dessert but plan to go again if even just for that!

I came here for a friends birthday and I would say that the dulce de leche pancake was REALLY good! Their breakfast is good as well. Can be a bit busy in the morning especially on Saturdays.

This place saved our hungry soul at 11pm. They have the best Lomo Salgado I have ever had. The short ribs was so fatty, and that’s my favorite kinda meat to have with rice. The tomatoes were so fresh, haven’t had a tomato that tastes like a good old fashion tomato for a while. The rice, uhhh, I couldn’t stop eating the rice! I don’t know what’s the magical oil or sauce they put in the rice, but it’s so good! Fish taco is delicious! The fish tempura was fried to perfection. Oxtail empanada, hmmmm, delicious and soft! So flavorful!! Everything was so GOODD the drinks are excellent too. This is a NYC must eat at midnight when no other restaurant is opened other than McDonald’s !

The appetizers left more to be desired but the main course was quiet delightful. They had one of the best Lomo Saltado I've ever had. The beef was tender and flavorful, the rice cooked well, and the whole dish meshed well with all the ingredients a Lomo Saltado has to offer. The other dishes were great as well as per reviews from my friends. I recommend this place give it a try.

This restaurant has real fusion and real taste. What is real fusion? It is from a mixing of cultures over time in a way that leads to new foods that meet the tastes of the peoples there. What is fake fusion? Taking sources of umami from every culture and throwing it together (ie truffles on everything). The lomo saltado is a delightful mix of cultures, though on the salty side. That nice slightly charred aroma of soy sauce is excellent.

The atmosphere is 💯 the food 💯 Waiter wasn’t that nice but we didn’t let kill our vibe. Music 🎶 was good as well.

I was happy to find this spot while running errands in the area. I came in with my partner and our one year old. Prices are very reasonable for the value we got. Servers were genuinely interested in providing us with a great experience and they def did! We’ll be back for more. Thank you!

One of my favorite places to go to in the city. I have some great memories here. I also love that they are open so late & the quality of the food is always on point! I get the same thing every-time & it never disappoints.

The service was good but we went in as a group and wanted to pay separately. The server refused to split the check and one person had to put the whole amount on their credit card and we had to figure out the amount for each person plus tax and tip on our own. I assume they did that because they added gratuity but we would have all tipped either way. The food and drinks were great though! I would still recommend!

Food was excellent. Place was vibrant, fun and exciting. Service was a little slow and indifferent. We had some empanadas, enchiladas Suiza and the Mofongo with beef rib. The food was excellent. Great flavor and wonderful presentation. The beef rib was just a little cooler than I would’ve liked. It came out lukewarm rather than hot. But it was bursting with flavor. Love this place. I’ll keep coming back!!

🇨🇺My experience at Coppelia in NYC was truly one-of-a-kind. Right from the very beginning, the fish taco appetizer set the tone for what was to come - an explosion of Cuban flavors and tastes that simply blew me away. The combination of light crispy fish and Cuban filling is a result that is jaw dropping and executed to perfection, and I found myself eagerly anticipating the arrival of our entrees. And boy, did the entrees not disappoint. The Churrasco traditional Cuban style was flavorful and juicy, with each bite simply bursting with spices and seasonings. The dish itself was a visual treat, with its vibrant colors and presentation that truly did justice to the cuisine it represented. But the star of the show was undoubtedly the steak Frites. The ny strip steak was cooked to perfection, and coupled with the amazing Coppelia “au poivre” sauce, it was a match made in culinary heaven. Each bite was a true delight, with the flavors blending harmoniously on my taste buds in a way that left me utterly satisfied. To accompany our meal, we ordered the classic Cuban margaritas, and were blown away by their refreshing taste and perfect balance of sweet and sour notes. Throughout the evening, the service at Coppelia was just as impressive as the food. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and always went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and enjoying our meal. Overall, I would highly recommend Coppelia to anyone. The food, service, and atmosphere are simply unparalleled, making it one of the best dining experiences in NYC. Whether you're a long-time fan of Cuban cuisine, or simply looking for an unforgettable gastronomic adventure, Coppelia is the place to be.

This place is a gem! Delicious food, amazing service, and the best part - it’s open 24 hours. Churrasco: skirt steak with rice and beans and sweet plantains. 6.5/10 This dish was the cleanest dish out of the others. It seemed very healthy and it was good. It did lack in flavor compared to the other dishes we ordered. Lomo saltado: beef short ribs with French fries and veggies and white rice at the bottom. 9/10 This was very flavorful!! It tasted really good with the fries and other stuff in the bowl. Rabo Encendido: oxtail in a tomato sauce served with rice and beans. 7/10 The oxtail was tender but the portion was small. The flavor is good! Enchiladas suizas: chicken enchiladas served with rice and beans. 9/10 The flavor and cheese pull from the enchiladas were so good!! But I think there was very little enchiladas and a lot of rice and beans. Tres leche cake: 3 types of milk cake with coconut and mango. 6/10 It’s yummy but dense. I would share this with others. Flan: a egg and milk custard topped with caramel. 6/10 It’s dense. But it’s more refreshing compared to the tres leche. Oreo cheesecake: standard cheesecake with Oreo crumble mixed in. 6/10 It’s dense but it’s standard.

A pan Latin American restaurant with a terrific menu - (not "authentic Cuban food" - much better, since real Cuban food is kind of terrible). Everything is great, from the eggs to the BLT and the lechon sandwiches to the main courses. This is also THE best late night spot in the Village since the closing of Florent. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the music sucks and is waaaay TOO LOUD.

Great food!! We shared the churrasco and the octopus sandwich and loved both. Very friendly staff too. Highly recommend it.

3 stars for the good taste of food. Portion is very small... ordered sea bass. That was not a fish. It was 1/4 of a fish. (Had to get something else outside) I couldn't eat there again. Too noisy with music and the conversations form other tables. I won't go back.
Carol Wiener Rodriguez
My friends and I thought the music was way too loud to have any dinner conversation. We asked them to turn it down nicely, but it kept getting louder. I've eaten there on numerous occasions and they always oblige with the request. We did complain to management and was told they would take care of us next time. Otherwise, as always, the food and service was excellent...

Great restaurant all you could want from a NY restaurant. Buzzing atmostphere, friendly helpful staff, great food at a reasonable price & a Peruvian cocktail which really hit the Mark.
Colin Hunter

My 4th visit to Coppelia and NEVER disappointed! Never waited more than 20 minutes for a table; the food is delicious and the staff is both professional & friendly! A must if you love Cuban food!

The portions are too small for the prices. The music is horrible and too loud. Depending on what time of day or night, the bar is cool to hang out at.
