I visited Tamarind for the first time with a big group so we got to try a lot of things. The restaurant has a very upscale ambience with a unique upstairs/downstairs layout, and the service is great. The dishes are quite pricey but there were some I liked quite a lot. We were given the option of hav
Tamarind has to be one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the city. The food is amazing, very refined and flavorful. The food is also not very spicy and can be enjoyed by anyone. The service here is amazing and the staff really ensures that everything you have is perfect and that you are well take
Absolutely love this place for lunch and dinner. I went there on Saturday for my wedding anniversary lunch and the service was spectacular. We ordered lunch prefix menu which included one appetizer, two entrees and one desert.
Being vegetarian for appetizer. I ordered tomato soup, in entrees I orde
Food is great and priced pretty well for the portion size and atmosphere you get. Highly recommend the palak chaat, toplina paneer, and kheer. And if you like, the drinks are pretty strong. The same chef went and started Mahal Glen Cove. The food is similar but you can tell the quality control here
Everything was absolutely phenomenal—especially the Punjabi goat curry! This has to be the best Indian food I’ve had in the states!
I absolutely LOVE Tamarind Tribeca. I would take the lower-rated comments with a grain of salt because I had an incredible experience and this is my 2nd time coming. I’ve dined at Indian restaurants all over the world and this place is in the top 3. The prices are very reasonable and you’re getting
Nice good Indian food. While the food was not bad and good, the chicken was very bad. It was dry, hard and I never thought I would get that in a restaurant of that level. My first visit. The star of the event was service. So I will try again some time.
I highly recommend going to Tamarind to celebrate a special occasion! The chicken tikka masala, chicken takka tak, lamb vindaloo and saag paneer were incredible. For dessert, you must try the cardamom crème brûlée which was unlike anything I had before! I’d describe the menu as elevated traditional
Food was excellent. We happened to be a large group, so we shared a lot of food and everything was absolutely great. Everyone in the group loved the food.
This is the way upscale Indian food should be served!! From the appetizers to the cocktails to the desserts to the coffee, Tamarind Rocks!!
Hara Bhara Kabab & Amritsari Seekh were outstanding. Nargisi Kofta was definitely special. Tried their “Midnight in Mumbai” & “Jaljeera” from the cocktail menu, really good.
Best Indian food in New York. The place is beautiful and staff are amazing. While that’s all nice, the food is out of this world. I’ve only recently discovered Indian food and have liked what I found. But I loved what I ate at Tamarind. I will be back on every trip to New York. A must go for an
I made a reservation to have my birthday dinner here with my boyfriend, and it was wonderful. We’ve never had Indian cuisine in a fine dining atmosphere, and had put it off for a while because we were perfectly happy with our take-out Indian meals. But our experience here was unexpected and fulfille
It was a birthday dinner reservation and the place was very busy. The ambiance was great although a bit too noisy for my liking. We ordered some drinks. Sunrise in Mumbai and Jaljeera were great. For appetizers, highly recommend the Amritsari Seekh Kabab. For entreé, highly recommend the Nargisi Kof
Quantity is less but quality is best.
Food was really good but expensive 😜.
Malai naan is one of the best and unique thing I tried if you are going there must try Malai naan and hara bhara kabab.
Tamarind is my place to go when I crave Indian food. I'm not into very spicy food so I appreciate the options availlable to me. The BATAKI KOSHA (Minced Duck Cooked With Onion, Ginger, Garlic, Garam Masala Hand Rolled In A Rice Crepe) is one of my favorite dishes there. KOLAMBI POLA *Prawns Sautéed
we had 2 delicious meals here. The decor is reminiscent of upscale Indian restaurants! 👏👏 very different to the other Indian restaurants in NYC. They have a varied and diverse wine, cocktail and beer selection! They have a big menu! in between courses they serve little treats. my only complaint is
