Really nice hidden Indian place. We went there for lunch and had their lunch menu. We ordered the Aloo Gobi Matar, the home style chicken curry and added some garlic naan. Everything was really good. Although we ordered medium spicy, we felt spicier than expected, but it was still good. The server kept coming with free ice cold water, which we really appreciated.

Simply one of the best Indian restaurants in the city! There are no reservations, only walk-in so expect a wait depending on the time you come.
Pre-fix menu option is worth it to get a full tasting of what they have to offer. The apps are always well cooked, entrees really hit the spicy level I love and dessert was decent. You can also BYOB if you want to enjoy some drinks with your party.
The staff are also very kind and attentive. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing Indian food tucked away in a cozy second floor restaurant. Great prix fixe deal, three courses for $25! Best vegetable samosa I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Very good food with affordable pricing (especially for NYC) and large portions. Staff were also very friendly and attentive. Wait can get long but definitely recommend!
Got here at 5pm on a Saturday and the wait was already 30mins. This place doesn't take reservation (contrary to what some of the reviews said) so definitely recommend getting here early or get take out. They also don't take your phone number so you just have to wait by the restaurant.
We got the 3 course prix fixe, which includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert for $25. The Keema Samosa (minced lamb and pea turnover) and Pakora (onion and spinach fritters) starters we got were good but nothing extraordinary. But the Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Vindaloo entrees were really good and one of the best I've had. Portions are also deceptively large as they are served in a small bowl.
1 thing to note is the spice level. The "normal" Tikka Masala is considered 4 out of 10 but honestly didn't taste spicy at all. If you like spicy food, I recommend at least a 6 or 7. The Lamb Vindaloo was a 9 out of 10, which had a pretty good kick but still enjoyable for me. For comparison, I think the lamb is on the same spice level as chipotle hot (red) sauce.
We also got 1 plain and 1 garlic naan. The plain one was just ok but the garlic one was pretty good so definitely recommend one of the "special" naans.
For desser, we had the Gulam Jamun (honeyed dumplings), which was expectedly very sweet and might not be for everyone, and the Kheer (cashew nut rice pudding), which was much better and not as sweet.
Also recommend the mango lassi, which was really good and not too sweet.

I have very little experience with Indian cuisine. This is a good choice. Even though I ate a lot of hot and spicy food, I did not have any stomach problems. I loved it a lot. It was very delicious. Portions are large and prices are reasonable.
Only the interior smelled too much. I can say this is the only minus point.

The keema (lamb) samosa was maybe the best samosa I’ve ever had! It came with only 1 but a large sized samosa, filled with juicy flavorful meat & peas. Such good flavor with the sauce. The chicken makhani (butter chicken) was good; regular spice level, or 4/10, was the perfect mild spicy level. Chicken was the tiniest bit dry inside and the rice portion could’ve been larger to match the chicken, but it tasted good. The rasmalai was delicious; again wish the portion was a little bigger but it was very good, and you can taste the rose and pistachio. The service is excellent, friendly and super fast with your order, and they refill your water constantly. Also love the paintings on the walls. The $25 3-course meal was perfect for two, only kinda hungry, people to split.

Absolutely delighted to stumble upon this hidden gem! The culinary experience was truly exquisite, with flavors that delighted our taste buds. A word of advice: brace yourself for their impressive spice levels. However, despite the intense heat, our dining party had nothing but praises for this outstanding establishment. The Kheema samosa and the lamb curry were our favourites. We will definitely come back.

Got a chicken biryani. The taste was average I would say. Tasted more like a one pot rice, subtle and nice. Quantity is good for two people. Costs about $18.

I love love love their food. I work across the street and treat myself time and again. The staff is very nice and accommodating. FOOD IS DELICIOUS, huge portions, I will eat for days off of one order-which makes pricing really very good. The Samosas are the size of a fist and the best I’ve ever had. The tandoori bread is also humongous and also the best. Ok literally it’s all the best. I don’t even usually really like mango chutney, but I love theirs! Wanna try the honey dumplings in rose water next!

Surprisingly cheap prix fixe option at $25 for an app, a main, and a dessert.
For the app, I really liked the Keema (lamb) samosa, it was flavourful and tasty. They have a lot of options for the main dish, and I've tried the korma and curry dishes. I really liked the chicken korma the first time I got it, but the second time I wasn't as impressed. The spice levels also seem a bit inconsistent. The first time I visited, I asked for medium spice and it was really good, although quite spicy. The second time, I ordered the korma again and asked for "regular" spice, which turned out to be different from medium spice, because I could barely taste the spice and I thought the dish was a bit bland as a result. They have really interesting desserts, and while I was happy to try them, I wasn't a huge fan of any one of their three desserts, and I only had a few bites.
Unfortunately they don't take reservations and there are sometimes lines, especially for larger groups. The first time I came here with a group of five for dinner, we waited 20 minutes. The second time I visited there was no line.
