Beacon Restaurant

While heading home from vacation, we decided to stop for a burger lunch. We came across Beacon Restaurant on Google maps. The menu looked reasonably priced, so we decided to check it out. When we got seated, the patron seated behind us said that everything on the menu was delicious. We ordered mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms, the beacon burger and the chicken tender sandwich. While waiting for our food, you could hear that this was a place for the locals. Regulars would come in and the wait staff would know their name and their order. The prices were amazing and the serving size were very generous. My son wanted a buffalo chicken sandwich, so they tossed the tenders in buffalo sauce. My biggest complaint was the fried mushrooms and onion rings were done more than our liking. Also, they ran out of homemade ranch so I didn’t get to try it. I was overall please with my experience and would recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

Excellent diner breakfast food perfectly prepared. I've only eaten breakfast at the Beacon and only on two occasions as I am a visitor to NSB. I am told by friends however, that the quality of the food is consistently outstanding and my personal experience validates those reports. The menu offers very traditional selections as well as a nice variety of unique preparations for the trendier palate. Very casual and comfortable atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The Beacon is an excellent place to start your beach day as the Flagler Avenue ramp is within 200 yards of the restaurant.
