Romano's Restaurant

We take an hour and a half road trip out to Romano's once or twice every year; for the last ten years. The food is always great and the people are even better. I had the pleasure to speak with the owner at length this time and he's an awesome guy. He introduced me to their cannoli this trip and it will be a must have from now on. I have never had a bad meal here, but we can't leave without getting a primavera pizza!

A hidden gem. i would agree the wait time for dinner can be a little longer than other places, but we dont plan on leaving in a hurry, and have never experienced the wait times that other people are mentioning in their review. we have gone there at least a dozen times and have had a great experience each time.

We had reservations for 9 people at 4:00, as we figured we would miss the busy dinner hour. There was one other couple having dinner while we were there. (Over 3 hours!) Some of us were done eating dinner and others still hadn't gotten their dinners. One person was served the side dish and the accompanying dinner came out 1/2 hour later. One dinner had chicken that was either barely cooked or just bad as it couldn't be eaten. Several of us felt nauseous on the drive home. Bad food? When we were ready to leave the chef/owner sent out 2 plates of pasta and 2 cannolis to compensate for the poor service. Terrible experience from start to finish. If they could not accommodate a group of 9, they should not have taken then reservation. We used to enjoy going there, but will never return!
