I’ve recommended Tables for Two to friends and family for years! This small cafe offers exactly what the name states: tables for small parties, an intimate lunch setting, and great food. Tables for Two is family owned and you can tell they truly care about their customers. They have a wide selection of lunch options and reasonable prices. They are also very accommodating of allergies and dietary restrictions (GF bread and vegetarian/vegan options). All of their paninis are freshly made and always perfectly toasted. Paninis come with a small side choice of pasta salad, olives or mixed greens (pasta salad is the best I’ve ever tried). If you’re anywhere around New Providence or looking for a place to grab a quick bite, definitely check out and support this local business!
food was good and did not take too long to prepare. the place had some other people there as well so that was nice. the only thing is there is a step in the place that they tried to put a caution sticker to bring attention to it but it still didn't stop an elderly lady from tripping and falling on her face... that was a really scary moment. please do be careful when walking unto the upper level. the restrooms were clean and there are two. it's a nice breakfast/ brunch/ lunch place.
Very nice place for a quick morning coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The inside was very clean and comfortable, reminiscent of sitting outside at a café. Ordered a hot capi sandwich (flatbread, scrambled eggs, hot capicola, and mozzarella) and a regular cup of coffee. There’s no pic of my meal bc it was delicious and ate it all. :p I didn’t try their espresso but the regular coffee I had was excellent. I would’ve stayed longer, answered some emails, had another coffee, etc., but they didn’t have a Wi-Fi password for customers.
Not only the best panini I’ve ever had It’s an overall top 5 favorite food. So good with quality ingredients. The meat is always perfect. Never encountered sketchy chicken. I would eat the cordon blue every day if i could. You will not be disappointed!
This is a good sandwich and salad place for lunch. It's near my business park ssp it's convenient for lunch. The food is made fresh on site every day and the owner is nice. I like to get the pesto, mozzarella and tomato panini with a side salad. Their soups are terrific. They also have desserts but I've never tried them.
Chicken Gordon Blue, exquisite, the best I have ever eat
Best croissants in the area. Hands down. Get there early or you will miss out.
On point lattes and cappuccino delivered consistently.
Muffaletta Sangweech - one of my great pleasures. Get the greens on the sides for that delicious balsamic dressing to sop up with ya bread. They don't even question when I'm ordering this during breakfast. 😀
This is a cute "Ladies Lunch" place, but since they do eggs as well as paninis it would be great for breakfast or brunch. My chicken BLT with a small side salad was delicious and filling. My friend "special ordered something with cheese (forgot what ) but asked for gorgonzola rather than American- no problem. Rather than a salad selected selected the olives choice. We each had teach and the bill was about $10 each, reasonable.
Have had several lunches here and today breakfast here. It as well done, but I was disappointed they do NOT offer customer s WiFi. This is the type of place and the type of neighborhood where WiFi is expected.
