The Hideout

Not sure if they are under new management, but this place has gone downhill quickly. Menu is new, pulled pork is not truly smoked, $7.50 for cheese bites and they only give you 15 small bites. It took over an hour to get our food on a night that was not extremely busy. Truly wish this local dive would be what it once was - very disappointed. Doubt I will be back which is sad since it is less than 5mins from my house. As I read some other reviews I know there is a lot of bias from the local community because it is small and local and was a great spot but things have changed.

We were in New Palestine for a high school band competition. We searched for a place to eat and B&Cs was recommended. The food was really good but the atmosphere and customer service wasn’t great. Maybe this is more of a local place than a place for outside customers. Don’t know if I would recommend it. But the food and our waitress was great.

Decided to give this place a try for the first time today. When we arrived there wasn't a wait and we were seated almost immediately. We ordered our drinks and the Time Bomb Tater Tots while we looked over the menu. The tots were good and had a nice amount of queso. I went with Barrow's Brisket Sandwich and onion rings. Lots of onion rings! The brisket was good and the BBQ sauce was nice as I prefer sweeter sauces. Our server was nice and our drinks never went empty. I appreciate that she checked on us during the meal. That's almost rare these days. All in all it was an enjoyable experience and I would return to try some of the other items on the menu.

Myself and some friends took a ride to Metamora, on our way back to Indianapolis, they suggested we stop at Bonnie and Clyde's, I must say I was impressed with the atmosphere, very clean, the staff, particularly our bartender server was very cordial. The food was very good. Next time I'm on a ride, your place will certainly be on my list of stops.

This place is next to never open. Their hours are not what they have posted… and they have scratched out their hours of operation off the door. This is the 4th time we have come here and the place is closed. It is only half hour til the dinner rush and they are closed??? Update your hours! Not as advertised it is a closed restaurant.
