"Promise Me!". Last Saturday, June 16th, I was back home in New Orleans. I happened upon Lickety Split's Sweet Shop.I was with my former husband, who is also my dear friend. He ordered a Coconut Snowball, and I ordered an Orange Cream with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream. That was the best Snowball I have ever had! I actually had my dear friend to not drive off before I could go back into the shop to have the ladies there "promise me" that they will be there when I return for another one of those great Snowballs when I decide to take another trip home. Unfortunately, I live in Memphis, TN for now, however, I am thinking about returning real soon just for another one of those OFF-THE-CHAIN Snowballs. Yum! I can't wait.
Sweeeet. These friendly ladies are almost as sweet as what they sell....they run a clean place in a nice area, and the sno-balls are excellent. Try the sugar-free pink lemonade! did i mention how incredibly friendly they are??
The milkshakes are the best our fine city has to offer and snowballs, the sweetest lickety split delicious flavors created and served to you by the nicest, most cordial, informative ladies whom know s the city and what the people love!
Paulette is the Snoball Diva! My fave is the lemonade sweetened with honey. She also has fantastic ice cream dishes. My friends and I love her cupcakes and pizza.
She also lets us host our meetings inside the Sweet Shop, for free!
Local grown, Lickety Splits is one of the best of the real New Orleans!
If you catch them open, well worth the trip. Family atmosphere, tv with dvds, family titles. Very comfortable, especially with little ones.
Great little spot for ice cream and snoballs on a hot day. Also have good food. We had chicken wings which were tasty.
I love this place. The owner rocks. She makes you feel very special even though we ordered the oddest shakes
