The Donut Bakery

I absolutely love this donut shop. It's definitely a hidden gem in New Orleans East. I stumbled upon this place while visiting one summer driving Lyft/Uber, dropping someone off to the apartments across the street. The lady who works the counter is so friendly and welcoming. This place is better than Krispy Kreme, Tasty, and Dunkin! They always have warm, glazed donuts, and they give an extra one for you to enjoy in the car, too! My favorite are the Texas sized honey buns with just the right amount of cinnamon inside and glaze on the outside! If you're in New Orleans, you definitely need to try them. You won't be sorry, and you'll definitely be back for more. (The breakfast plate was made at home, but the donuts are from The Donut Bakery)

Some of the best doughnuts ever. I went for the first time Sunday 11/28 to see if the reviews were accurate and they were. I let the woman know it was my first time there, she let me sample and I immediately bought a dozen. The service is excellent (the woman that took care of me was very friendly) and she told me to come before 10am to get the best out of the product. It was already amazing so next time I come to New orleans I know I'm coming back.
