A hidden Filipino gem in New Orleans. The food was very authentic and it brings back memories from my home country. The fresh lumpia was delicious and savory, crispy pata pork was crispy and flavorful and their Lomi and Palabok noodles are also yummy. The owner are very friendly and accommodating and we will definitely be back again to try other dishes in their menu.
We are sitting in CK's finishing our first ever authentic Philippine meal and it was beyond fabulous! We had no idea what to order and the staff suggested the Lilian's shanhai for an appetizer, the bulalo soup, and the chicken and pork adobo with garlic fried rice for an entree. We simply could not stop! The flavors were just incredible. We highly recommend!!! This is an absolute must visit!
I have visited a few times, and have been thoroughly pleased each time. Never a bad dish, texture and flavors have been spot on and portions are generous. Nothing to complain about, and a lot to like.
If this is what people will remember Filipino food by, then they are in for a treat! I can attest that what he serves here is better than home cooking. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Cris and his family, and chatted a lot about food. This guy definitely loves what he does, loves his food and takes pride in serving only the best. Sadly, once you've tasted food made by a master, your tastebuds will never be the same again...
I was so excited to find a Filipino restaurant near the CBD on NOLA! The owner was so kind and made us some yummy food. I got the vegetable lumpia and sinangag and halo halo. I will be back next time!
The only thing that went wrong was that I didn’t bring a friend to help me finish the food. The food here is absolutely wonderful. This is a restaurant that may look odd (store and restaurant in one space) but it is certainly worth the stop. I’ll be back many times as I’m a short walk away. And I look forward to tasting more items on the menu.
I think what brings this place home for me is that it is not pretentious. It’s just damn good food.
Feels like home cooking. Got the Kare Kare and Lumpiang Shanghai. I tore it up like i hadnt eaten for days lol . Incredibly friendly chef and server. Also compliments of the chef, i got an on the house leche flan! Thank you!!!! 😃😃😀
THE BEST FILIPINO FOOD 😍❤️ Can’t even begin to explain how amazing their food tastes. To top it off, the staff are hella friendly! Worth every penny I promise!
We drove all the way from lafayette to here. Definitely was worth it! The karekare was very tender and tasty. The staff r very friendly. I would make this trip again.
This was the first place we stopped when we arrived in New Orleans. Glad we stopped for sure. Lovely people, good food.
I’m here on vacation and just stumbled across this place and decided to stay because of the great reviews. I am truly so blown away. This is by far the best Filipino food I’ve had ever, and I’ve had quite a bit. Chef Crispin Pasia has an amazing story and speaking with him was such a lovely experience. Almost as good as eating his food.
I always come here when I want to show my friends authentic, professionally cooked Filipino food. It's so good! The restaurant/store is interesting, and I love all the pictures of the chef with Paul Prudhomme. Portions are large and you'll be going home with leftovers. Love it!!
