We lived everything especially the smothered pork chops and candied yams.
Was very pleased with the portions i got and the taste was out of this world, will definitely come back again.
Tried to call in order and a guy hung up on me, I called back and was placed on hold so long my husband just went up there and I hung up after he reached restaurant. The fried chicken was seasoned great and do yourself a favor and get double yams. Please pass on the spaghetti and cheese aka Mac and
We were on a family trip to Alabama for the holidays. Stopped in and enjoyed every thing from the smothered pork chops to chicken wings to the YAMs and collard greens very flavorful and tasteful we glad we stopped in.
Chicken was a little salty, then I like it. Overall food was" GOOD. "The only thing I would suggest is greet your unknown customers. Nothing is wrong with a smile and a warm welcome 🙏🏾

I ordered the catfish plate sides were candy yams and mac and cheese w/roll. The catfish was crispy, yams sweetness was just right, mac and cheese was good. This plate filled me right up for lunch. I'll definitely come again.
Food is delicious. Sometimes the workers aren’t as pleasant maybe they’re tired. I forgot a drink from an online order No one called to tell me they forgot to give it to me. So I lost that money. Other than that the food is always good.
Sorry I ate half of the food. Had fried shrimp, yams and mac n cheese. Really good. Yams are amazing. Nice size shrimp and well seasoned. If you are in the area, give them a try. Located in NOE
This spot is the truth!! I vacationed here a few months back and am STILL thinking about that pork chop plate 🤤 I have another trip planned and DEFINITELY plan on stopping at this place a few times while I’m back in New Orleans!

I came by on a Tuesday afternoon, I ordered the neck bones with greens and Yams. I would have liked more neck bones but the dish was good. The greens could use some smoked turkey meat. Under $15
You ALWAYS find the best food in the smaller restaurants; they're called " A whole in the wall"! Loved my hamburger steak with mashed potatoes, collard greens,& Mac&cheese!!! 😋😋😋
