I had dinner here the eve of my birthday with my boyfriend while we were on vacation in New Orleans. They have affordable prices, seating, televisions, and a pool table. The food is good. I had the catfish and my boyfriend had the lemon pepper wings. The server was kind and friendly. The chef gave me a free bottle of Hennessy because it was my birthday. The hospitality that my boyfriend and I experienced was heartwarming. The locals who work in that venue and locals who frequent it were all kind to us. You can buy bottles of liquor as well and walk out with it. It's an older crowd like 45+ and the music is old school classic records like Temptations and Stevie Wonder but I love that music so I enjoyed myself. They have a no refund policy so once you order you can't change your order or cancel it.

I am back in love this spot. Close 2 home and a neighborhood bar. The wicked witch has gotten on her broom and flown away. Therefore, I'm back to jamming and chowing down on some faboulish cuisine with my peeps. Just answer the phone sometime.😂🍸🍸
The food is great and the service is wonderful. This restuarant is in a great location and can accommodate any party needs. Security is present and always willing to walk guest to their vehicles. I will be back.
One of the best local, neighborhood spots to go for a delicious fried catfish plate. Potato salad is on point as well! Nice, friendly staff.
Yakamein was to die for. Had a good time. If you don't go for anything else go for the good during happy hour. Drinks are a little strong, but I can get over it
Wednesday thru Sunday kitchen is in full affect......yaca mein, party wings(lemon pepper, bbq, regular fried, and hot), gumbo, catfish, shrimp, oysters, hot sausage, and hamburgers.....happy hour on Wednesday and Sunday....and if you are not a single drink type of person....we sell half a pints and pints......lets not forget our dj's Mel and James on the 1's and 2's......so come in and enjoy yourself !!!!!!!!
