Beautifully designed and decorated tea shop. Tru, the owner, has an extensive background in medicinal plants and makes all the tea blends herself. I had the iced Voodoo Blossom and the Widow Spice Chai -- both flavorful and complex. She also runs a wonderful apothecary out of the shop for custom blends to take home! Couldn't ask for a better place to stop at after a long day at work. I will definitely be back!
So glad we stopped here. Wonderful atmosphere and great tea. I requested something without caffeine or citrus, so they got me some Running Horse (a smooth, earthy mint blend). The tea really did make me feel better - more balanced, more energized - and the chocolate chip cookies were great too. Looking through their menu, I realized how great the Fear-less tea would be for me, and I wanted to buy a tube of that to go, but they were out of it... so they made some specially for me! Much appreciated. Definitely would come here regularly if I lived here
Authentic tea shop in New Orleans. Love this place, great neighborhood vibe and the owner makes some of the best teas I've ever had.
This is my new favorite place. I love going in and hearing what True has to say about the herbs and teas that she is so passionate about. You simply tell her how you feel and she suggests what tea you should get. I recommend this amazing spot to everyone.
We popped into the Tea Witch Cafe for the first time today and were so impressed! Their tea selection is amazing and the atmosphere is the perfect mix of calm, inviting and spiritual. The gentleman working this evening was SO knowledgeable and gave us great suggestions. He was also very friendly and welcoming. New forever customers here!
This cafe was awesome and chill. The environment and aesthetic were swanky (while still being comfortable and inviting, which is amazing!). The Owner and staff were cool and friendly and it was definitely worth the walk. Plus all of the tea was fantastic. I'm from out of town and I'll definitely stop here again on my next trip.
Tea Witch Cafe is great. I went for my first time last week to meet a friend and fell in love. The ladies who were working are so friendly and nice. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The moon painted on the ceiling is mesmerizing. Looking forward to going again.
Gorgeous place with pleasant vibes and bar none the best bathroom I've ever been in. The tea blends are created and blended in house. Can't overstate how cool this place is. I made it a point to go visit because of positive reviews here and my expectations were exceeded. Tea aficionados can't go wrong here.

Had the most mystical experience at Tea Witch Cafe with a bone reading by the Tea Witch herself! Having never had a bone reading before, it was insightful and unique to see a different kind of reading laid out here in New Orleans. I read tarot myself, but wanted a different experience to gain some insight into the new year.
Tru is experienced and professional. Her background in Native American medicine cards and channeling was apparent-I felt at ease, but also intrigued by the information she gave me, all of which was spot on.
This was an entirely new experience and take on readings, and I’m glad to have tried something different, I’d highly recommend a bone reading here (they also offer Medicine Card Readings) for some insight and offering as to what is to come in the next few months. The tea makes an even better pairing for an afternoon.
This should definitely be one of your stops if you’re in town, looking for some psychic insight without journeying all the way to the French Quarter. The shop is eccentric and well done as well-a true hidden gem on Magazine Street, and I will absolutely be back!
