Amorino Gelato

The Gelato here is really really good and smooth! Went one night and had to go back the next day. I had the lemon pie which had some chunks of cookie/crust crumble in it that tasted absolutely amazing! There are alot of flavors, but I was hooked on this one in particular. There is seating to relax and enjoy and that we did.

I went to this place with the expectation to have a flower gelato the same way I did in portugal and that is exactly what I got. While the price is a little high for just a cone of gelato, the experience to have it is in my simple opinion worth it. I loveeed the flavors I selected, and will be my new go to whenever I do gelato. I got the caramel macaroon and it was amazing. The flavors I chose were: dulce de leche, stracciatella and the hazelnut with chocolate. Highly recommend! I am always jaded on the taste of gelato because after going to Europe nothing tastes the same but this place place was actually good.

We were on our way back to the Hilton New Orleans Riverside hotel when we happened upon this shop. The selections were amazing and the quality is superb. To make this sweet shop even sweeter the staff are so helpful and patient! If you are visiting NOLA, please don’t sleep on this place!!! Trust me, they have exactly what you need to satisfy your sweet tooth!

First time visiting Amorino for some of their Gelato, which was delicious in every way. The inside was very clean. The female cashier was not pleasant even with my basic communication skills of "how you doing?" The gentleman who made my cone was very pleasant when I simply spoke to him. I do feel bad for the staff being so busy with what appeared to be two people working. To have to create art from ice cream on a cone takes more than two people any day of the week, less when it is cold outside. The flavors of the Gelato were unique and very well presented, and very delicious!!! I do recommend Amorino and will return. However, when I return, I'll probably get s milkshake to make it easier on the staff. The flower cone is very time consuming for them and I can understand how some staff wouldn't be happy.

First thing : this place has great gelato in quality and selection . Taste and consistency really close to legit Italian gelato . Hands down . Second : the staff working Martin Luther King day ‘22!!!-3 girls deserve raise ! Nice and friendly , welcoming . I honestly believe that the gelato tasted good because of their energy and attitude! And lastly get the “la Bella” . So good !! Highly reccomended it
