Zasu - New Orleans - Photo album

A refreshing, pleasant surprise from the fried seafood found all over NOLA. The chefs here know what they’re doing. We got the crab fingers, king salmon, pompano and budino. All excellent dishes. I would skip the crab fingers for next time!
What a great meal!! The staff was wonderful. The wine guy poured us the most interesting Spanish white. The fish was perfect and then desserts were both delicate and WOW that was big!!! Can’t recommend Zasu enough. Perfect night.
This place was one of the best dining experiences we've had so far in New Orleans. The food flavors were very interesting and exciting, cocktails were delicious and the service was great.
Great little restaurant perfect for a small family dinner on a special occasion or a business dinner. Seafood is tasty as is the Spicy Paloma mocktail. Staff is friendly. Happy to return.
We had such a lovely evening at Zasu! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was so comfortable. Highly recommend!
Five stars aren't enough! This place is a hidden jewel in midtown New Orleans. Chef Jeff is an amazing cook and explains the food very well. But when you taste the food you would swear you went to heaven for dinner. This place is very underrated and easily a top Restaurant in America. This is from s
While searching for a place to treat ourselves, Zasu came at the top of our choices. The menu seemed interesting and location not too far away from where we were staying. Getting the reservations to it was the most challenging part. When we got ourselves a spot, we were extremely pleased. We arrived
Absolutely divine meal at Zasu. Server knowledgeable and engaging, atmosphere subtle and understated, very comfortable, we ate early (5:30) so not as crowded as I am sure it gets. The Octopus and Crudo appetizers were outstanding. Menu reads easily but does not prepare you for the excellence of w
I’m 72 years old and I have had the good fortune to dine in many fine restaurants around the United States and a few in Europe. That being said, Zasu provided our group of 4 with perhaps the very best dining experience I have ever had. Each dish was prepared to perfection. James Beard award winnin
LOVED THIS LOCAL/INDEPENDENT GEM - after an exhausting day in NOLA (jazz fest 2022) I wanted to sit down and enjoy great food and wine… thank you Zasu!!! AMBIENCE- wish I had taken more pics, because this place is just cool, from the fab entrance (hidden behind a tall green hedge) to the modern take
Well, well, well.....not sure what to expect on a Monday night. Menu is super interesting and these are my thoughts. Wine list is really good. The chicken dish was fantastic. The deserts were insanely good. I would absolutely go back. Parking was also not a problem at all.
Every bit of food was amazing. My friend said she was going to lick the plates! Sweet potato soup was tangy and delicious. Pork cheeks melted in my mouth. I had the snapper and it was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. Servings are small and prices big but the food was incredible.
Always a delicious dining experience in a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere. Everything we got was so flavorful and tasty! Great for a nice date night.
The food was fantastic 😋, I mean best cooked fish i have ever had. And the service was outstanding. Will recommend 100%
#1 culinary highlight of NOLA. Stupidly delicious. For a moment I thought I must be stoned to enjoy the food so much (I wasn’t). I was blown away by the octopus and pork cheek appetizers. But was unprepared for the Ora King Salmon. I think perhaps the best salmon I’ve ever had.
Amazing dinner! We booked 3 top restaurants for our stay in NOLA and Zasu is the winner. The Butterfly cocktail was the perfect blend of sweet and sour. I had the Braised Short Ribs and every bite melted in my mouth. I would buy a gallon of the Tomato Jam. Excellent. My husband had the Halibut
Fantastic experience, delicious food and impeccable service. Must go on our culinary visits to The Big Easy! Love Chef Zemanick's creations - favourites include baby octopus, pork cheeks, halibut, short ribs and coconut buttetcream cake.
Dinner for Two was about $150. Including drinks and appetizers. Get a French quarter high end restaurant experience in mid city. Have gone about 6 times over the years and it has never disappointed. Only negative I have is the 2 top tables are pretty close together so you feel a little cramped on a
Best meal I've ever had in my life. There were 4 of us. We shared several appetizers and several entrees. Every bite was delishious! The drinks are great too! It's been almost a week and we are still talking about the food at Zasu!
