Pretty cool employees, spacious area, pool tables, bar and nice sized booths! Inexpensive food and the temperature was appropriately set due to the chill outside. Cheeseburger was okay..didn’t finish it because of how big it was, not complaining. Even though there were a good bit of people there, it wasn’t too chaotic or noisy. Cool place to just chill after a long day of work!

Although I was only there for a bite to eat for lunch, this is a nice size neighborhood bar with pool tables in the back, at least one DART station. The actual counter/bar itself is long and has lots of stools. Because they have good hamburgers and bar food, they also have several booths for dining in.

I wish I remembered our bartender’s name because she was so kind and friendly. Super affordable liquor and food, and very warm staff. If I ever come back to New Orleans, I’d definitely visit them again.

Beachcorner is a great neighborhood bar with indoor and outdoor areas. Their menu is extensive, and their grilled tuna steak and burgers are delicious (and huge). They are happy to cook to requested temp. Plenty of TVs to watch games and they'll change to a different game upon request if no one objects. Good selection of beers on tap, both local and national brands.

Beachside is a great environment bar, with excellent food. The burgers are legitimately top notch for between $10 to $12 ish. I normally get the Hot and Spicy burger but the bleu cheese is another great option. You really can’t beat its location to off the interstate and the bar tenders are really great at making you experience wonderful. Highly recommend.

Close to where we started our cemetery tour. Food was fantastic. Portions pretty large. Definitely the grill is not their main moneymaker. As they say on their sign, we are a bar with a small grill.

Food was OK. Service was very slow. I waited in line over 30 minutes just to order. The priority here is selling liquor. That's great if you're going to a bar, not so much if you're going to a grill.

I'll keep this short and sweet: this place has the best hamburgers, hands down. There is no other restaurant, bar or grill in the New Orleans area that can come anywhere close to this hamburger. Trust me. Listen to me now and hear me later; I'm not going to argue this in the least - On a scale from 1 to 10 , 10 being the best place to get a burger, Beach Corner is a 15! The swamp burger at Swamp Room is a negative 15. See where I'm coming from?

It is every bit as good as port of call without all of the tourist and inflated prices. It does not matter what burger you choose, they are all big delicious burgers. You cannot go wrong. The onion rings are pretty decent too

NEVER GOIN BACK AGAIN!!!!. I ordered today from beach corner.. opened my box the lettuce was brown and whittered.. the tomatoes was rotten and smelly and i went to smell to make sure and threw up in my box... I called them to tell them .. the girl insisted that it was fresh..I had to bring it to them to show them... and she said it was that way because it was in a napkin... and insisted that I bring them the burger which I threw up on... so they could give me another buger...told them to keep it.. didnt want it..had already thrown up once today... never goin back

Best burger in town? Pros:.... Best burger in town? <br/>Pros: Big 10oz. Cheap $6 + .50 per lettuce, tamato, onion etc. I was full definitely, but satisfied? Barely. While the meat was flavorfull (very well seasoned) the rest was okay. An option of sautèd onions would have been nice. & cheese that didnt come straight out of a kraft shredded cheese bag (still cold btw). So far the best burger in the city that ive had is at the high hat cafe on freret st. & its not a seedy sketchy looking bar. Oh & evidently smokings allowed at beachcorner. Big thumbs down for me. Compared to 2$ more than a McD's "burger" very good. But no where close deserves the title best in the city.

One of the best burgers in the city. Yeah, so it's a bar. Big deal. The food more than makes up for that atmosphere if it's not your thing. These guys do them right, very generous portions, excellent quality meat in the burger. The bacon blue cheese fries were so good, practically hurt myself eating them. TONS of blue cheese and bacon. Dreamed about those and the jalapeno burger for days afterward.

Decent burger, hold the hoochies. So we've heard great things about the burgers here & finally made it to see for ourselves. The burgers were large without too much charge, but the "best burger in New Orleans" claim is still unsubstantiated in my opinion. <br/>Still, a very clean joint with friendly fast service and a decent menu with good prices - can't complain, and will probably be back from time to time.<br/><br/>There was one disconcerting element though: there were a couple of um, "ladies" doing a lingerie raffle, visiting tables & doing their spiel. Not only do I not appreciate being approached for money while I'm patronizing a local establishment unless it's for a good cause, but I especially resent being approached by women who are so scantily clad that I can identify what type of wax they had unless it's in the French Quarter.

Why so dark???. This place was sooooo dark even for a dive bar. Nonetheless I didn't let that stop me from trying their raved about burgers. I had the smokey cheddar burger cooked medium well. It was cooked perfectly, the burger was good (not sure about best burger in NOLA though). Bottom line no frills, no thrills here just a really good burger. Nuff said.<br/>Pros: Items priced right, nice neighborhood<br/>Cons: Spookishly dark inside.

Sooooo delicious...a must have experience, it leaves a bit being desired in atmosphere but makes up for it with fork and knife sized burgers. I recommend mowing down a burger with both hands and letting the juices run to your elbows but, maybe that isnt your thing...yummm. Whatever you order you wont be disappointed

Neighborhood dive bar...in the best way possible.. Ladies, don't be scared. The place is one long dark room...bar in front & pool tables in back. The walls are covered in so many mirrors you wonder if you mistakenly stepped into a 'gentlemen's club'. Fret not, there is nary a pole in site.<br/><br/>Once you get past the ambience the place is downright enjoyable. Order at the bar. Do your own pickups from there too. All the reviews are correct, the burgers and booze will cure what ails you. My 10 oz cheddar burger was great. My friend and I split the blue cheese and bacon fries. They are SMOTHERED in blue cheese (cheese...not dressing) and real bacon. They are quite naughty.<br/> <br/>Total for 1/2 app, 2 jack & gingers and a ginormous cheddar burger...$18.88. Dinner and a buzz for under $20 bucks; I like it. Only one thing to note...smoking is permitted so if that's an issue, sit in the patio.

Such a good burger... atmosphere - not so much.. I will not lie, this is probably the best burger in town. It's just a bummer that they were just playing Taylor Friggin Swift's "Fifteen" song in a BAR. Teeny-pop has no place in a bar. Smoky, dark, with the main lighting coming from the video poker machines every where you look - but still a delicious burger. Another reviewer said "just turn off your computer" and go to Beachcorner for a burger. My thoughts exactly. You're not waiting in a crazy long line at Port of Call and they're not nearly as pricey as Yo Mama's.

Best burger in NOLA. I think that they have the best burgers in NOLA.<br/><br/>The place is a little hard to find. Service is practically nonexistent and it can be reallllllllllllly slow.<br/><br/>But the burgers are great. Get the Beachcorner. Also, nobody under 21 is allowed in. Some people with kids might not like this. I think its great!

Best burger so far!. My first time trying Beachcorner, I was a little worried about how the service would be after reading the reviews. But during my visit, everyone was friendly. The lady who took my order was nice, and the cook was sure to tell us bye when we left. And my burger was DELICIOUS. Big, juicy, and WELL-SEASONED. What sets it apart from Port of Call and Lakeview Harbor for me is the yummy garlicky flavor. They also used tender, high-quality beef. The fries and onion rings were fine, but nothing extraordinary. Now, if only I could combine Beachcorner's burger with Port of Call's baked potato, the world would be a perfect place!

Horrible service!!!. As a mid city local, I live 4 blocks away and will NEVER set foot in the beachcorner again. We waited an hour and a half for our food and when it came out it was stone cold. Our appetizers never came and the owners son said it was our fault for not asking the rude bartender about the status of our order. The atmospere is terrible and the service is even worse. Do yourself a favor and eat someplace else.

Great Rainy Sunday Hideaway. Had a great BBQ cheddar burger and fries. Amazing hunk of meat perfectly cooked to spec on a bun that does not sog out and disintergrate. It's a bar and grill with poker machines so an added plus of NO KIDS! Win-win all around.

Best burger in NOLA. I've written something like 500 reviews in NOLA. I can confidently say i enjoyed my burger here best.<br/><br/>I'll qualify -- I'm not a burger fan and dont often get them. Also its not kobe beef or some upgraded meat. YET the spicy burger was enormous (10 oz.), with perfect, fresh dressing (tomatoes, onions, lettuce), the meat was moist (even though I had mine med well) and very zesty. Mine came with jalapenos and pepper jack and was just $6! My friend's hickory burger was also perfect. Much better than Port of Call or Snug Harbor, in my humble opinion. <br/><br/>The bacon and bleu fries were thick, well done, huge portions and generous topping. For $5 they were great.<br/><br/>The hidden cost was the iced teas/sodas -- $4 each was steep.<br/><br/>ATmosphere was not as interesting nor as gritty as I expected.<br/><br/>Overall, a new favorite. jan. 10.

A follower of the blog recommended this place to me (Thanks T.A.!) and when I walked inside, it was so dark! I just went straight to the counter and ordered my food to go (there was no way I was gonna get any photos in the bar). The bacon and blue cheese french fries were pretty good. 10 oz bacon cheeseburger This burger is huge! You can't even see the bread on the bottom. I usually boast myself upon my achievements of eating large burgers but I met my match! I couldn't finish this burger in one sitting (sadness!) But even when I reheated the leftovers, it was still delicious.
