Delicious poke bowls! Lots of protein and topping choices (especially the macadamia nuts for a crunchy topping.) Cute modern interior and outdoor seating too.

BEST poke I've ever had in my life. I eat A LOT of poke, and none compares to the stuff I get here at Poke Loa. So much so that I've developed an addiction, one may say, to Poke Loa over the past four years. I'm probably biased, but the bowl that I always get is the absolute best! It has the best flavor and I've always found all of the ingredients to be super fresh. Here's what I get: White rice, spring mix, salmon, spicy salmon, cilantro, cucumbers, tamari, sesame oil, chili oil, crab salad, seaweed salad, edamame. red roe (or all of the tobiko they have that day), lemon miso aioli, and sesame seeds. I'm not exaggerating when I say this bowl is life changing. Try it out!

I wasn't crazy impressed. I've definitely had better poke before but what was good was their seaweed topping. The meat seemed fresh but I wish it came with more meat. There staff was friendly and they had good lemon cucumber water.

Honestly if you compare this poke place to the other poke place on magazine, this one is much better and they don’t skimp on food. However, they ask for tip for to go orders? Who am I tipping? Myself?

I am completely obsessed. Although it's pricey the ingredients are always so fresh and I like the staff at this location. I feel really healthy and good about my entire life when I eat this as my meal. I will probably go hear a thousand more times. I eat here at least once or twice a week.

Always a pleasure to eat here. Affordable and a great value for what you get! If I want some extra seaweed or whatever, they are always happy to make me happy and don't nickel and dime me about this. Derrick was on staff to make the experience great and encouraged me to write this review. The best Poke in the city of New Orleans and I highly recommend this to people looking to stay fit and healthy, feel satisfied after a meal, want to be careful about spending and need a place to go on a lunch or dinner date. Superb atmosphere and clean!

I'd been following Poke Loa on Instagram for a while and was a little obsessed with their food just from pictures. I was downtown so I tried out their Magazine Street location and it definitely did not disappoint. I had the tuna poke bowl that includes rice, and salad greens for the base. Veggies like cucumbers and edamame are tossed with sauces and your scoops of protein and added to the bowl. Toppings are added and dressed with a creamy Sriracha sauce. All of this magic happens right in front of your face. Wherever you live, it's worth the trip downtown.
