Great place for breakfast! Loved the waffle with strawberries and whipped cream that my son ate. They also have a great selection to choose from with eggs, grits, omelets to help make your morning great. Staff there is fun, fast and friendly which helped make the start to our day awesome. Come early or with time since it tends to be a popular place and will get crowded.

Stopped in on Saturday morning and was surprised that there was no wait for a table. The server was very pleasant and attentive. I really enjoyed the belgian waffle with strawberries, bananas, pecans. It was nicely plated but there was a bit too much whipped topping for me. The pancakes were hot and fluffy and the bacon was hot and crispy. I hadn't dined there in several years but it was a good visit.

Great diner spot. Got the pork chops and eggs and they were fantastic. The only down thing about this place was the fountain soda they ratio is way off lots of water and less syrup. We had and very nice and caring waitress.

The food was amazing. No cocktail sauce for my shrimp, which made me sad but the the food made up for it. Very big shrimp and the catfish just melted in my mouth. I will be back. Very nice staff and nice relaxed atmosphere. Street car takes you right out front.

This is a local breakfast and lunch spot on St Charles. The prices are really cheap. The service was good too. Left a good tip. Anyway they have trolley pics on the walls. Problem is theyre only open at select times. Check the schedule. But good food and service when they are. I ordered the liver and eggs with a side of bacon. SHRIMP omelette to go

Actually went back the next day for the chicken & waffles and the green fried tomato BLT. Again we had excellent food and great service.

The chicken fried steak, bacon cheeseburger, cheese fries, loaded baked potato and hash browns were all delicious. The service was great. Our visit was fairly late at night so it was calm and quiet. I will definitely return.

We popped into this Cafe as it was close to our hotel. It was the best choice ever! The prices were so reasonable and the food was amazing! The red beans and rice were the best I have ever had. At this place you will never need to pick up a salt or pepper shaker. The waiter was super nice too. We went to a fancier restaurant later that evening and that food didn't even begin to be as good as Trolley Stop! This was just some darn good cooking. Do yourself a favor and eat here!

We came to NOLA for the weekend, and after riding the trolley for 45 minutes without a destination, we got off for brunch at The Trolley Stop Cafe. In short, the food was great. I had the Banana Split Belgian Waffle, pictured. It was so good, though I was worried about being type 2 diabetic after eating it! My wife and kids had eggs, pancakes, bacon, etc., all very good. Katt did a great job serving us. Decor and ambiance were nice, too, much more of a nice place to stop than just for a late breakfast. Well worth a visit.

Authentic NOLA atmosphere. Fast friendly service. Quality food. Not a huge amount of selections on the menu but good b basic brunch items and regional favorites. A fun stop centrally located. Easy access to street parking.

Can I just say this place looks like it could be a hole in the wall but it's the absolute cutest spot ever. Excellent service and amazing food. Ms. Dana is the best. Her hospitality was amazing, so much that we came back a second day😀! Thank you for making our stay in New Orleans as great as it was. We will back again.

Brunch was so awesome! Get the bottomless mimosas if you can. The birds in a nest with a waffle was phenomenal (pictured below). The wait was well worth it, if you're in the area stop by.

This place...absolutely AMAZING! THE ambiance is very classy and displays pictures of the RTA or the local transit. They play non-offensive music. You can see people jiving to the music. You can tell it's a pillar of the community. The food is great, especially the hash browns. If you ever visit New Orleans, the is a must visit! I will be back!

One place I would never come again and spend one dime (Customer service)is horrible ��the management is horrible the time waiting for our food an hour n 1/2and then we waited another 45 minutes for the food to actually come to the table all the service look like they're on drugs even the management look like he's on drugs they need to close this place down. Customers was walking out just because they had five til ten tables open and they refuse to seat anyone then a White couple came in 45 minutes after us and was seated right behind us and got their food before us .SMFH and I am a server and I've never seen anything as horrible as this �����.They need to just throw the whole trolley shop away

Today, I went to the Trolley Stop for a little afternoon breakfast and I brought along a friend from out of town. I was very embarrassed and quite angry and disappointed with the service that we received. After seating ourselves, I asked a young lady who was cleaning a table for a menu. She let me know that she had just gotten off. Fine. Then, we waited for 30 minutes to see someone in our vicinity to take our drink (and by then food) order. The drink did not come for another 15 minutes, after a reminder. The waitress attempted to deliver someone else's food to our table and appeared to be zoned out. She never returned to our table, so after an hour, we, like the couple we'd seen 15 minutes prior, decided to leave. We left the money for the drinks on the table and headed down the street to another place where we received prompt service. I will not be back or recommending the place again.

The manager worked just as hard as the servers, busting tables, making coffee, everything. That was the second thing I noticed. The first was how welcoming the staff was. Follow that with hashbrowns with a cajun twist and a meal that was delivered minutes after I ordered it, and the experience was a wonderful dining decision. I would gladly recommend this diner.

Never had an opportunity to try the food because the hostess was missing. A waitress acknowledged us and then left us standing there while she visited for 15 minutes. The She asked us if we wanted to be added to a wait list even though half of the tables in the restaurant where empty and clean.
We will never come back. So unprofessional.

Over cooked steak. Bad service. The waitress did not show much attention to our table at all. When I told her about the steak her attitude was horrible. So she only took the over cooked steak back and left everything else on the table. So I was forced to eat eggs girts and toast..... Which I didn't want to eat by it's self. So when the steak did come out to the table the rest of the food was cold and my family was already finished with there food. I guess that's what we get from coming at 10:40p.m.

The pancakes were excellent but the service was only okay. Had whole wheat pancakes on the menu but when ordered were told they only do buttermilk ones.
Grits were cold and congealed when the food came.
