Review Stanley - New Orleans

Kevin Kwok
Fun atmosphere right in the center of the quarter. We came right before a saints game so it was very crowded but we still managed to be seated right away. The sides are pretty big and can be a meal if you're not too hungry . I recommend the grits! Iced tea, Eggs Benedict Poor Boy, Bacon & Cheese Grits. Total: $31.47

I went here for my birthday breakfast and it was awesome!! Everything I expected. My server, I want to say his name was Caleb but it think it was spelled different, was spectacular. He was very attentive and courteous. I ordered the Banana's foster French toast, and it did NOT disappoint!! This is a must stop on your visit to the French Quarter at Jackson Square. Check the times on the door though and make sure they are open when you want to go.

Wonderful flavors. Best food we’ve had since arriving in New Orleans last week. Flavors are well developed and service was really quick! I highly recommend the food here

So many amazing breakfast options to choose from. When in NOLA you need to check it out. The food came out incredibly fast, although my order came out incorrect the first attempt but was quickly rectified. The staff were attentive at first - although our waiter did disappear and we needed to wave down someone to get our bill. Despite the hiccups I'll be sure to be back my next visit.

I find Stanley is a good place for a quick meal. The food is good and they offer breakfast whenever they are open. The staff are nice, but it’s a bit of a rushed atmosphere. This is understandable as they are normally very busy. A good location and nice surroundings.

Fun and laid back atmosphere. I was searching for a “packed” Bloody Mary and I found it here !! Bacon, olives, green beans, lemons and limes. I added a kick of hot sauce and I was perfect. Frog legs were delicious!

My favorite meal in NOLA so far. The waiter, whose name I wish I could remember, recommended the Crab Cakes Benedict. They were mostly crab, hardly any breading just the way I like them! The Hollandaise sauce has a kick to it and the drinks were strong and tasty. Everything looked super clean and the service was attentive without being overbearing.
Anna Lumpkin
I like their veggie gumbo. Foods are hot and tasty. Service was not so much, very crowded restaurants. Their creole bfast potato is out of this world.

Small place but Fabulous food! It is always a must do for breakfast when we visit NOLA. There's always a line out the door so we try to get there early when they open to avoid a long wait. My favorites are the crab cakes Benedict and bananas foster French toast. It's a perfect way to start a day in NOLA. Service is usually lacking but they make up for it with the food.

Everytime we visit NOLA we have breakfast at Stanley's because everything is so good. They make the best poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and the best gumbo. There place is always clean and so are their restrooms. The atmosphere is so cool. Listening to the Jazz music playing on the outside is nice. Servers are nice and attentive. I will go back when I revisit NOLA.

The staff here is just amazing. They were so helpful and accommodating. Our water glasses were never empty for more than a few seconds. The shrimp po'boy was HUGE and so good. My crab cake benedict was delicious. My son devoured a whole order of frog legs, which were a totally different recipe than any others were tried. Definitely a solid option for a family.

This place is great, you can't go wrong with just about anything on the menu. We had the bananas foster french toast, Breaux Bridge Benedict, the Stanley Classic (the grits are Amazing) and the Eggs Stanley with french bread. If you go on weekends, there will be a wait but its worth the wait. Go and enjoy, so good.

We had a pleasant experience at Stanley's. We ordered a couple of eggs Benedict, I got the one with crab and spinach, we ordered another one with ham. Drinks also on point. It took a minute because it was a busy weekend with a lot of people waiting but overall we liked it. Great location and atmosphere.

Awesome breakfast ! Got the corn beef has with Sunny side up eggs 🤯 so freaking amazing. And the cappuccino was delicious.

Burger and onion rings were excellent. However, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They have some very inventive brunch dishes. Great benedicts and fried seafood platters. A hidden gem on the menu is the gumbo with a scoopnof potato salad served on top. The service is always great. The owners always greet you with a smile. They even remember me every time I visit. Great location on the corner of Jackson Square. A must stop for brunch every time I am in New Orleans.

Came for breakfast as eggs Benedict are my fave! These did NOT disappoint, neither did the drinks. Coffee was great, excellent social distancing procedures in place too. The crab cakes Benedict were WOW! Amazing! The crab tasted so fresh, bursting with flavor and the eggs were PERFECTLY poached.

Got caught in the rain but it felt good to make it in a local suggested we go the night prior. He raved about the eggs benedict with soft shell crab I cook allot so I was ready to see what was up. Our waitress suggested some kinda punch WHOA hello liver lol. All in all it was quiet raining a bit much but everything panned out when the food arrived. My supervisor was traveling to NO and told her she had to try it and she raved about it on her return from vacation this week.

Right on the square, lightning speed service, friendly staff, hot coffee, DELICIOUS food. What more can you ask for? The corned beef hash with the hollandaise was hit the spot. What a great little corner.

Great place next to Jackson square... food is pretty good, not THE best but it’s good!! Been here on a previous trip as well and definitely recommend grabbing some dessert. Service is also great, our waiter was super friendly and also very handsome.

Phenomenal breakfast!!! The service is spot on. The food is to die for!! I’d say this is one of the top breakfast joints in NOLA!!! And the Bloody Mary’s!!!! We had to go back a second time!!!

We were originally told there was a 30min wait and ended up waiting for almost an hour and a half as one of our party was excited to eat here. After waiting forever and a year we were finally seated. The server was cold, didn’t make eye contact, nothing. The food was decent (the pancakes were tops for sure). I had a mimosa any the other people in my party had a Bloody Mary. The BM was great however the mimosa was WAY too strong. To the point where it was undrinkable. If you have nothing to do with your morning roll through. If you’re on vacation and don’t want to waste your time steer clear.

My daughter and I had breakfast here two mornings in a row....The Bananas Foster French Toast was possibly the best tasting breakfast I’ve ever eaten! We will definitely be back here whenever we visit!

The food was average – my wife salad with shrimp, was pathetic for the $19 cost. The shrimp were 30/40 count… They were tiny... it was sad. My sandwich was adequate, $11 for the club sandwich – it was yummy, but probably should’ve been served with fries for that price. The fried oysters were outstanding. The restaurant was a little bit on the dirty side, the hostess was lovely, and the service was ok at best.

The food and service were outstanding! We actually dined her twice for breakfast it was that amazing! I always recommend this place. After all a local recommended to us! Nom, nom, nom!!!!
Carrie Tumlin Parker
The staff were super friendly. The food was served quickly and was beyond delicious. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting.

Good food bacon was bomb the prices are a little questionable for the portions so don’t think your going to get a worthwhile meal for under 15

Staying at a nearby hotel and was looking for a "normal" breakfast place. The menu is really different but very Nola. The service and staff were totally amazing.

Bobby waiter is best.He will tell you his three favorites on breakfast menu. OTHER places to eat or see in new Orleans.

Amazing food, great service. We liked it so much yesterday we came back today. Great music and the Cajun potatoes are AWESOME!!! Not sure why the bad reviews, yesterday they were slammed and we still were served amazing food in a reasonable amount of time. We sat at the bar both times and the servers and bartenders were so friendly and happy. Will definitely make this a must do every time we visit.

Service was excellent, our server was awesome. She was quick, and fun and had great suggestions. The food and our drinks came quickly— it was delicious. Everything was perfect. Thanks for starting our vacation off right. Super happy customers!

My first time in New Orleans, my wife knows the city so I just went along for the ride. The first place we stopped for breakfast was Stanley’s. The omelette sandwich was awesome, great service. We ended up eating there twice for breakfast, there would have been a third time. But just ran out of time.
