Felix's Restaurant And Oyster Bar - New Orleans - Photo album

I used the local reviews to work out which Oyster bar I should check out and Felix was the one that stood out. They were able to seat me straight away and the server explained that different options of the oyster selections. I ended up having the char grilled and the oysters Rockefeller… both very t
The server was very attentive. Once we got him to the table. there was a weight of about 5 minutes for him to get there. he quickly took our drink orders and then brought the food very fast. The turtle soup was very thick and needy. But I was very surprised they didn't offer me Sherri. after asking
This was a crowded and Lively venue. We were seated in the front of the restaurant by the street on the Bourbon Street side. That allowed for awesome entertainment as we dined, but made it a much louder experience. Our server Mary was absolutely excellent. The food came very quickly for as busy as t
A standout restaurant in a city filled with good food. Felix’s has the recipe for the proper New Orleans dining experience. Food and drinks came out fast, perfectly cooked, and flavor for days. The true success of this establishment is in the service. You will be well taken care of and the staff are
Excellent experience at Felix’s Restaurant and Oyster Bar! We were very fortunate that they accommodated our group and we were lucky enough to be seated on the 2nd floor balcony over Bourbon Street where we could take in all the atmosphere that the French Quarter has to offer. Food was AMAZING! Of c
We had a nice lunch at Felix’s Restaurant and Oyster Bar today. Felix’s does not take reservations but we had no trouble getting in. The service was very friendly but not as attentive as might have been. The Felix Special, half shrimp and half oyster PoBoy was great. I will definitely return.
We ordered the mix of oysters and loved them, mostly the Bienville oysters. The Rockefeller were great too. The jambalaya rice bowl with shrimp was delightfully spicy 😋. We loved the gumbo soup. Definitely it's a place I will return. The service was very accommodating and helpful.
GREAT, GREAT, GREAT! I have been here twice while staying in NOL because of the quality of Oysters and their great service! As a solo traveler, it could be awkard to sit alone at the bar. However, the professional oyster men kindly talked to me, and their service were just excellent!
Tried the chargrilled oysters for the first time and felt in love with it! The fresh oysters were amazing, jambalaya (warm and delicious!!!). Everything was really good and the service was excellent!! A must go if you visit New Orleans 👌🏽
It definitely has a greasy spoon feel but it has its part of that French Quarter atmosphere and it’s close to the hotel (Marriott). The charbroiled oysters were the highlight of the meal. Better sized than other places and perfectly cooked. The gumbo was, gumbo, but there was better other places for
Probably best oyster bar for us in the French quarter. We have tried Acme Oyster House and Mr. Ed's Oyster Bar & Fish and Felix's always better. We love oyster shooters, haft shell fresh oyster and grill oyster with crab. We think Felix's have the best cocktail sauce than another place.
Justin was our waiter, he did an awesome job. Food was great, especially the jambalaya and red beans with rice. Was a bit loud and a steak was a tad over done but overall it was a really enjoyable experience!
Update: We were shocked that our review got such a quick response from the management. Will, the assistant manager got to the bottom of our issues and invited us back to ensure our experience was satisfactory. From the moment we arrived, Ty took care of our every need and had great recommendations.
If you are looking for a place to have oysters, this place is it! The combination of "West Coast, East Coast and Gulf Coast" oysters are meaty, succulent, flavorful, and huge! We sat at the counter and thoroughly enjoyed the company of our server Vincent, who tirelessly shucked oyster after oyster w
We were in New Orleans for a vacation and came across Felix's when on Bourbon Street. With all the amazing food choices in the French Quarter, we found ourselves here three times it was so good. The food was excellent, good service and a nice vibe. It was our favourite place for Oysters and loved
It is a battle of oysters! Very good grilled oysters here! Definitely try the soft shell crab it will not disappoint. Staff was very good bringing drinks before current was gone. Here and acme are the two champs
