Amazing dinner! The food, the staff, the cocktails, the ambiance were all incredible! Our servers Jasmine and Kristie were perfect! They were very attentive without being intrusive. They were both professional, personal and a delight. They were very welcoming. We had the seafood trio for an appetizer - crabmeat ravigote, marinated crab claws and shrimp remoulade on fried green tomatoes. Ceasar salad and Masion Salad for 2nd course. Entrees- we both had the filet and they were cooked to perfection. For dessert we had the Creme Brulee - absolute perfection. We're locals and this one of the best meals we have had in this city! The manager Nick stopped by our table to chat and check in on us - excellent touch. Bravo, Tableau! We will definitely be back!

My father and I were walking around looking for a nice place to eat. We ended up at Tableau and loved the atmosphere and the menu. We had the brown buttered gnocchi and ricotta stuffed squash blossoms to start. They were both incredible but the squash blossoms were absolutely heavenly! We both had the filet with potatoes gratin and béarnaise . Steak was cooked perfectly and everything else was wonderful as well. Our waiter Karl was great and very attentive. We loved our meal and service so much we decided to go back the next night for our last dinner before we left town.

If you are visiting New Orleans, the Tableau is a must. Make reservations for the balcony overlooking Jackson Square. We went for brunch which was absolutely delicious. The bottomless mimosas are $15 a person and they fill them back up before you even finish. Our glasses might have gone empty for 2 minutes, but that’s the max. If you go, check in with Cody and say hi. He even gave us mimosas to go! He made sure we had everything we needed and was friendly, funny, and talkative. He was by far one of the reasons we had a fantastic experience. We will certainly do the brunch again when we return here!! Thanks Cody!

Great place for brunch before the matinee at Le Petit Theatre. Highly recommend the French onion soup and the sugarless lemon meringue dessert.

3/20/2018 - each and every one of the wait staff and management that we spoke to were excellent and personable. Eggs Benedict with sauteed crawfish...amazing. Bottomless mimosa's...essential. Balcony seating made the meal even more special. Even received a tour of the building...they have rooms to rent for events that are to die for...I'm a fan and now a promoter, thank you.

This was my first visit to Tableau but it will not be my last. The staff was attentive and professional. The food and drinks were superb. The waiter did advise us that the menu changes with the season. To me that means we need to visit at least 4 times a year.

Thank you for a French Quarter top notch dinner on Wednesday. Joseph and I had a fun and memorable "4th" occasion, and we liked the good service. I especially enjoyed the eggplant entrée.

Nestled in the heart of the city, "Tableau" is a culinary gem that promises an exquisite dining experience. From the moment you step in, the sophisticated yet welcoming ambiance sets the perfect tone for a memorable evening. The menu at "Tableau" offers a delightful array of dishes that cater to various palates. The standout dish was the Shrimp and Grits, boasting a perfect blend of flavors that left a lasting impression. The diverse selection ensured there was something for everyone, from delectable vegetarian options to succulent meat dishes. The service was impeccable, with a staff that exuded warmth and professionalism. While the prices were slightly on the higher side, the quality of the food and the overall dining experience justified the cost. The portions were generous, and the presentation of each dish was nothing short of art.

We love the patio on the second floor. Beautiful setting up, perfect lighting with three different light temperatures. We do not like much about food. We are actually expecting more flavors of each dish. Great cocktails, great flavor. Intuitive and friendly services.

The patio overlooking the quarter was adorable. I appreciated the aesthetic of the restaurant and thought the design was fantastic. The food was good, but just good. There were 4 of us, and none of us loved our meal. However, I will say the creme brulee was quite a treat!

We have eaten at Tableau several times. These are really nice people and we love the restaurant. The view from the gallery is superb and with the roof that has been added, is not bad even in the hot sun. It’s a great spot to have afternoon cocktails and watch the spectacle. Many people really like the food but for us it is okay. Not bad, just really not up to New Orleans better dining standard’s in my opinion.

We had an amazing brunch experience at Tableau. We were seated in the courtyard which was beautiful, and had an amazing service by Ashleigh. She made our dining experience terrific with her suggestions and great personality! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, from the Truffle Crab Fingers to the Shrimp and Grits. Would highly recommend!

We came here as part of a foodie and cocktail tour. We were all so excited to try it!! We had the most delicious duck gumbo!! The duck was tender and flavorful!! And the sauce flavor profile had so many layers to it!! A bit of spice... a bit of earthy... the rice to balance it all. It was great!! We also had the tarte à la bouillie with rum caramel sauce. It was light and airy, but held together on the crust. It too.... was amazing. Our drink was a French 75...with a lemon zest kick...it paired beautifully with the tarte!

Tableau is an exquisite place to visit. Located near the Cathedral, the building used to be part of the theater next door. It is a modern restaurant inside of an authentic French quater house. It has 3 floors, an amazing balcony view and an attentive staff. It was a nice experience dining there on my last night in New Orleans. The prices are reasonable and the food taste delicious.

Great experience overall! The French onion soup and crème brûlée were AMAZING! I didn’t love the fried oyster appetizer but my Gulf Fish Almondine was good! Our waitress was super sweet and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, the video attached is of the bathroom nonetheless!

Came to celebrate a birthday and everything we ordered was delicious. Cocktails are also great. Would recommend for a special occasion. Courtyard area is nice and quiet, great if the weather permits. Service was quick and professional. Would also recommend making a reservation ahead of time.
