Food at weddings when it should be one of the best meals of you life! The space is perfect for a wedding and it never feels crowded.
The staff is alway eager to help me gather things at the end of the night and are all so professional. Love this place!
This was by far our best meal in New Orleans. The Crab Au Gratin appetizer was so good I would have kicked the dish if there had not need extra bread. I had the Rack of Lamb for my entree. It was amazing. Seared to perfection with a crisp that never hinted of burnt. The meat was so juicy and tender it melted off the bone. The sauce and mashed potatoes were an incredible complement to the Lamb. For desert we shared the Bread Pudding. It was like no other! I'm not sure I could find the words to do it justice. Kim, our server, did a masterful job of walking us through the menu and suggesting food based on our preferences. Thank you!!!

Let me just say, if you don't have your wedding at Tomas Bistro, you are making a HUGE mistake! Not only is the venue gorgeous, but I really have to rave about the staff. I was a bride on a budget and didn't have a wedding planner so I did everything myself, and Emily Radosta was perfection. She's easy to work with, always available if you have questions or concerns and she'll work with you to help give you the most perfect wedding day. The rest of the staff who worked the wedding were all kind, helpful, friendly and they all made my guests feel at home.
A lot of people for my wedding came from out of town, so of course they wanted to experience some New Orleans cooking and the food at Tomas Bistro didn't disappoint. Everything was presented well, it never ran out, and please make sure you get the BBQ shrimp (guests were licking the bowl). The entire night people came up saying how good the food was, AND the staff gave us like 4 to go boxes of food so my husband and I could enjoy it later.
I literally could go on and on about this place, our experience was amazing and it was perfection from start to finish. I would do it all over again there and strongly encourage EVERYONE to check this place out!!!
My wife and I ate here last night before going to the Neil Diamond Concert. It wasn't our first visit and won't be our last. Over the last few years we have dined here and always been impressed. Everything they bring to the table is amazing, flavorful and top quality. Great wine selection, with great service and the best food available. This is my favorite New Orleans Restaurant.
Service was the best we have had. Staff was extremely friendly and our water glasses were never empty (something very new to us as we typically go through several glasses with our dinner). The food was beyond words- I had the filet mignon and he had the grouper. Both dishes were excellent and I would definitely have a very hard time choosing my next dish knowing that everything is so delectable. We finished our dining experience with the creme brûlée. There are no words to explain how incredible this dish was. I have had creme brûlée before- this tasted as if the chef had sprinkled a touch of magic and added a dollop of heaven. We are here visiting from Orlando, Florida for my fiancés birthday and we will definitely be going back before we leave town and will probably drive all the way back just to dine here again. Five stars doesn't do them justice. My vote is 7 stars!
We recently held a rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding here and it turned out just great. The venue itself is lovely and the food was simply delicious. Everyone loved it! I highly recommend Tomas Bistro's Gallery Room for such an event. The staff also were terrific to work with.
Had my rehearsal dinner there, absolutely beautiful. The service was great and the staff was extremely helpful and always taking care of us. Would highly recommend Tomas as a reception/rehearsal hall.

Emerils was booked, so they suggested Tomas Bistro. We were very pleased we could get seated without reservations. The food was fabulous! Highly recommend!
Best dinner so far in New Orleans. Would definitely recommend the Veal Oscar and Snapper. yum!!! Jocimo was a very personable waiter. Great find!
The venue for the wedding of my best friend was amazing. We had Great food, atmosphere, and very accommodating/considerate staff!!

It was so amazing, my husband took me there for my birthday and he had the duck, i had the lamb, they were cooked to perfection. For dessert he had the bread pudding and I had the cappuccino cheesecake � Our waiter was James and he was great. The only thing was that we spotted 2 little mice running around the whole time. We would still go back again though, everything was so delicious.
I recently had my wedding reception here. They did an amazing job. The food was excellent! They have the best shrimp and grits I have ever tasted. The bar service was wonderful. No one had to wait for drinks. My friends and family are still talking about how great everything turned out. I couldn't have asked for a better venue. Thank you again Tomas Bistro for making my night so memorable!
I love this spot for weddings and events! With excellent service, great food and a beautiful setting convenient to hotels, this is the perfect spot for destination guests who don't want the cost and hassle of the quarter.

We hosted our March 26, 2022 wedding at The Gallery Venue at Tomas Bistro and it was beyond what we ever imagined. Emily was our main contact throughout the planning process and she was professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. She communicated every step of the way and made us feel so comfortable by the day of the wedding.
The venue is stunning and has the perfect balance of a New Orleans vibe mixed with rustic/industrial. The two separate areas allowed for easy guest flow and gave people the chance to step away from the music for a break, if needed. Our guests also LOVED the courtyard - people were out there all night!
The entire Gallery staff was wonderful and professional and the food was outstanding. We're still getting compliments about it a few weeks later! Mary was our personal attendant for the evening and she was incredible. Always made sure my husband and I had a drink in our hand and made sure we had time to eat before our entrance. She took great care of us and my parents!
We would 100% recommend The Gallery for a NOLA wedding! The location is also AMAZING. Just far enough away from Bourbon and the Quarter but still a hopping area at night. The restaurants were packed when we did our second line and it was so fun to celebrate with our guests and everyone who was out and about. Huge thanks to The Gallery and staff for an incredible wedding day!

We had a rehearsal dinner here with a cocktail party before hand. Everything was perfect. The hors d’oeuvres were delicious and plenty! The room and service were perfect and food was great.

Not only is it an awesome place for dinner but Tomas did an amazing job on making our wedding perfect in anyway. I can't think of anything i would have done differently. I am sitting almost crying because I can not believe it is over! The ceremony and reception were beautiful! The food top notch as well as the service! They gave us are own waiter who always made sure if we needed anything! They really go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect! Which it was! Emily is so incredibly nice and awesome! I highly recommend having your reception and ceremony like I did at Tomas! I am so glad my Wedding Planner Michelle of Unique Weddings told me and showed me this place! Till next time tomas you will always be in our hearts!

I will say though everything has been great from communication to the food tasting. I really enjoy the feel and look of the venue as well.
Very very beautiful place. My friend had a wedding there this weekend. The staff were ALL very polite and helpful. I couldn't think of a better place to have the reception. Thank you all so much for a wonderful and beautiful time.

Food is very local and fresh. Service is really sincere, professional with each staff person helping another. My sister had the sweetbreads for starters and the Duck Julia with demi-glace. The fried oyster appetizer was my favorite and main was the rack of lamb. Terrific and great wine list.
Whilst staying in NOLA, I chose to dine at this little place. I read the menu on Open Table. I liked it and made a reservation. I enjoyed the meal. Crawfish and goat cheese crepes were excellent. The crab and brie soup was also excellent. I had a salad, soup and appetizer instead of an entree. My friend had a wonderful Caesar salad and swordfish with crawfish. All very good. The service was attentive and warm, albeit more casual than I prefer. The place is cozy with an air of elegance. It's a good choice for dinner.
Happened upon this place in a recent trip to New Orleans, and it was a pleasant surprise. The food was great and the service was wonderful. It's a cozy space -- not too busy -- and within walking distance to the Convention Center and area hotels. Definitely recommend.
I have been to a lot of 5 star restaurants, and this one tops them all. Amazing experience, best customer service I have ever received, great food, wonderful location built in an old historic warehouse with original wood. Would go back every time I visit New Orleans, it is really The place to go while here.
Service was fantastic. Best heirloom tomato salad I've ever had. Only disappointment was the food runner was a smoker. Wanna know how I know? Because I could smell it on him every time he walked by or delivered any food to me. So disappointing
